I am a patient of Dr. Clasen, who is new to their practice. Although I am very happy with the surgery he performed on my arm, the office is aweful to deal with. They treat you as if it is a priviledge for me to be a patient of theirs. You can't get a live person on the phone, you continue to be transferred to a voice prompter, and then, after spending countless minutes on the phone routing you to the appropriate person, you HAVE to leave a message. In an emergency, don't make the mistake of requesting to be routed back to the operator, becuase you are then treated with a scolding about how you HAVE to leave a message. In other words, she has already routed your call, so don't bother her again. DO NOT make the mistake of calling the after hours emergency service, because they are as abrupt and disconcerned with your pain as the office staff, AND WILL ACTUALLY TELL YOU THAT. DO NOT think that just because you have an appointment (which in actualality will only take 5 minutes), you are made to wait no less than 90 minutes to get into see the doctor. Its as if my time is not valuable at all. DO NOT think that the ""WE HOPE YOU ARE SATISFIED AND WANT YOUR COMMENTS"" flyer they have in the office is anything more than their attempt to reduce the amount of trees in the forest, because you never receive a response, and in fact, the Office Administrator wouldn't even return my calls. I have had surgery on my arm, and I have seen Dr. Clasen for a total of 10 minutes cumulative. If you can put up with horrible treatment by the sterile, uncaring office, this is the place. Since you can NEVER talk to the doctor and let them know about the lousy service, I hope this review makes it to Dr. Clasen as I want him to know just how terrible an experience it was for me, and hopefully he can make a change.
Pros: good doctor
Cons: can't get to him and office staff is horrible to deal with
