I was a patient of Harold Stokes during a crucial period in my life, when surgery on both hands for carpal tunnel releases was necessary after a work related accidental fall where I landed on both hands. While the releases were a necessary step in my recovery process, Dr. Stokes was adamant in his written reports to workers comp that my injuries ""were bi-lateral and possibly coming from my neck."" He was correct in his diagnosis and cervical neck surgery was necessary as part of my recovery. Today I am living the best life possible with permanent nerve damage caused from a conservatve workers comp approach.
