Hamner Towing

AAA has its own rules. I've had to deal with AAA for several different issues over my 16 years of membership and they can be really nice or really harsh with their rules. They only pay for tows for certain times and areas and reasons. Also, AAA tow drivers have only charged me a dime if I went over my AAA mileage allowance - I've never been charged besides that fee. I noticed this other customer review that she was really mad about AAA rules that Hamner had to follow and said that all the driver cared about was the money. I'm pretty sure tow companies don't charge AAA customers a dime if they don't tow the car and if it was under AAA mileage allowance; so I'm not sure what she was angry about. I doubt she paid any money to Hamner. I have used Hamner Towing for a battery issue through AAA and it was 5 star service when the driver from Hamner came to my house and when I had to go down to their shop to have a slow charge and then test done to get my AAA battery replacement. BTW - EVERYONE from the driver to the shop and office personnel were at the top of their game delivering service and a smile. more

Rip OFF...do not use. For a AAA rated service it is hard to believe they have zero regard for customer service!!! They were dispatched by AAA on a towing service call for my vehicle. Hamners didnt bother to call me before they came and they brought a tow dolly. I refused the service because of potential damage to my car because of a rear axle issue. The driver only cared about the money..told me the axle wasnt an issue and he could tow it anyway. I knew better and refused. Since Hamners trucks were right around the corner I asked him to go get a flat bed. He told me I would have to order another service call and advised that I would be charged twice. I called AAA told them I needed a flat bed and they dispatched a differing towing service. Low and behold another Hamners driver pulled up with a flat bed at the same time obviously expecting to get paid twice. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Now I am dealing with AAA on a dispute where Hamners is trying to get paid for a towing service which they never made. They never even hooked up the car! NOT RECOMMENDED!!! My husband called AAA when the radiator on my car blew to be towed to Pep Boys. When Hamner Towing showed up, the driver educated my husband about Hamner Towing and the services they offer. Not only is Hamner Towing close to our home, their prices were hundreds dollars less than anywhere else we have found. \r \r When my husband got into a car accident, we of course took his truck to Hamner towing and they finished repairs two weeks earlier than our insurance company estimated. They are fair, and friendly, and I trust them 100% with our cars. Ron and his staff of mechanics, as well as the staff inside the office are great. It's hard to find a good mechanic that you can trust and we are so happy to have found both at Hamner Towing. more

I had to use this company for an even tI did. I needed to make sure that people didn't block a driveway and the only way i could make sure they followed the rules was to have one of their tow trucks sit and wait at the event. This company was willing to have one staff member sit and wait for me for a couple of hours. I didn't have any problems with that truck sitting there!This company has very reasonable rates and all the staff that i have dealt with have been very helpfully. Their prices are good. And they take good car of your car while in their care. I would use them again for my own needs if that should occur. more
