I called this company asking for a price to replace the capacitor. The gentleman who answered the phone was nice and said he would have someone meet me at my home. I agreed and they said they would call me when he was 30 min away. I got the call, arrived at home and the service tech was already here. He was talking on his cell phone with his bag in hand. He started to walk toward the back of the house, I stopped him, again he was talking on his cell phone, sounded personal, I however told him I wanted to know a price before he set his tools down. He said let me take a look but still was talking on his phone. We get back to the unit, it clicks, humms, he hangs up his call and says it is the capacitor. I said I know, and before we do anything I want to know how much to replace it. He says $385.00. I said no way, he said how much do you want to pay. I thought about it and said. $130.00. I told him the part was about $30 and $100 labor was fair. He said what, I cant charge make money on the part? I said you asked me how much I wanted to pay, I told you. He said, you are out of your mind, write me a check for $95 for my service fee and I will be on my way. I said, no way on the service fee, this is why I asked for a price before you even came out. I asked for a price before you walked to the back of the house. Now you say $385.00 for a service that the part is $30.00. He said he could fix it in less than 15min, and I said, that is what I am talking about, you want $385.00 for a 15min job. He called me a few names and left. You decide, is this the type of business you would like to service your equipment? Would you trust them? I think you can tell what my thoughts are.\r
