Wow - Seriously?????????? 6/22/2010

Wow, I too was at the above party, and I think the other parents who were there would agree - if it was not the child's party, everyone would have walked out. What a terrible job on the nails - my daughters nails were peeling before we even got home. There was no organization, and the lady with the short curly hair was so rude. She definately needs to find a job far far away from people!! Grace was very unprofessional, and obviously does not have a handle on her staff. They should all be fired!! As a matter of fact, she should fire herself while she's at it!!! Pros: N/A more

Worst Experience Ever!!!!!!!!!!! 6/22/2010

The staff was rude and very unprofessional. One staff member told a guest at my party not to mess up her nails because she didn't feel like doing them again. Staff was overheard stating that they couldn't stand listening to the kid's squeaky voices. The foot baths were not cleaned and changed between girl's, which I was too busy to notice until it was too late.as I was having to start manicures because of the lack of staff and space.One staff member from our party was getting her eyebrows waxed instead of helping out with services that were being done. And too complete this horrible experience, Grace added a 30% gratuity to our total bill! And of course they want the money beforehand!! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!!!!!!!!!! I only gave them such a high rating because negative stars weren't offered!!! Pros: None Cons: Rude, Unprofessional, more

Decent work but takes way too long and gossips 5/6/2010

Let more first say that i have had many services done at hairscapes...nails, massage, facials, hair, wax, eyebrows. Most of them have been pretty good. But I can just no longer tolerate the unprofessional behavior of the owner. I want the salon to be a relaxing experience. I don't want to hear all about the drama going on in YOUR life, much of which seems made up. And I certainly don't want to hear gossip and lies. Furthermore, when I only have so much time in a day, I cannot afford to spend 3-4+ hours getting my hair done. If you wonder why you are losing clients, this is why. FOCUS on your client, be positive, show up on time and get a color/cut done in 2.5 hours or less. It's totally possible. Also, can you please keep the bathroom clean and stocked with toilet paper? Little things make a big difference. more

Go somewhere else for your massage! 3/4/2010

The moment I walked in to Grace's I immediately felt like the atmosphere was artificially inflated. The space felt cramped and the girl at the desk seemed flaky. Just looking around everything seemed a bit disorganized for a so called "spa". I did not feel relaxed by any of it. But I stayed for the one hour massage I had booked. It was the single most disappointing massage experience of my life. The LMT was fresh out of school. I know because she told me she had just graduated MT school 6 months prior, along with the rest of her life story. She would not shut up during my massage no matter how quiet I was! I don't mind a conversation during my massages but this woman just seemed to like hearing herself talk because I learned all about her in the hour of torture I experienced under her hands. Her massage skills were severely lacking and her "bedside manner" left everything to be desired. It's my personal opinion that a salon/spa owner should be well aware of the type of people they have renting space from them and in this case, I don't think Grace cared very much at all. I will never go back there for anything. more

After searching for years to find SOMEONE who could consistently give a great cut/color, I finally found Grace. She and her friendly staff go out of their way to make you feel like one of the family. Why go anywhere else? more

First of all the owner (grace) was late for my appointment. someone else had to start me hair. She was a total mess. warm day out and wearing snow boots. every other minutes answering the cell phone carring on about drama. this place is not relaxing or worth the money ... Pros: waste of money more

When I had my childs party there they use the same water for all the kids feet to soak in.. also they had a 16 yr old high school girl working as a nail tech.. not to professional and I asked her about it she works there doing all services so before you book anything you should look to see if the person has a license.. hopefully they will be shut down by this time from violations... Cons: many more

The Absolute BEST 9/7/2009

I have been going to Grace's for a number of years now. I moved here from California and I am a former high fashion model. I know the best of the best. I would not go anywhere else to get my hair done. Grace's amazing desire for customer satisfaction is beyond admirable. She always wants her clients to be 100% happy with any service at her spa. It takes a very skilled stylist to make me happy. Grace is an amazing colorist. I have never been more happy with my color than since I started going to her. She knows what she's doing, she's good at what she does and she CARES about her customers. I have been back in California for a few months now and I am making my appointment asap. more

This place is unprofessional and completely lacks talent. I left with two different polish colors on my toes and bumpy french tips and I was overcharged to boot. The woman who did my mani was all shaky and couldn't paint a french tip so she had someone else do it and it still came out bad. None of my nails were painted to the edges and the polish peeled off within a week. Grace, the owner keeps going on these sights registered as different users to leave positive feedback to balance out all of the negative stuff. GO ELSEWHERE! Don't waste your time or money!!! Great Salon! 9/3/2009

I have been a client of Grace's Hairscapes Salon and Spa for over two years. I have wavy/curly hair. Grace is my stylist/colorist, and is very talented. Each time that I have visited the salon my hair style, color, and highlights have been perfect. Grace goes out of her way to accommodate her clients and is very attentive to thier requests. Terrific Manicure and Pedicure 9/1/2009

Last week I treated myself to a French manicure and pedicure and I'm so happy that I did. My hands and feet felt great, and more importantly they still look wonderful - very little chipping even after a week! This is the only place I've ever gone where my manicure can last a week! I will definitely go back! more

I have been a customer of Grace's Dayspa for many years. What keeps me going is the quality of the work and attentiveness of the staff. Grace is eager to please and has tremendous talent. I have recieved compliments on my hair over and over, and as result, have referred many clients to her. They too are quite satisfied with their results. She recently added a new manicurist to her staff. I seldom indulge in this but decided to try it out. I was so pleased that I just may add this to my "maintainence" program! My nails have never looked better. Lots of compliments there too. Pros: high quality services more
