Wow, there are some really horrible reviews on here.... I almost listened to them and didn't come here, but pretty much all car salesmen are going to be shady, and if THEY aren't, their manager is. I was lucky enough to work with Efrain. Art, the Internet sales manager, was just okay... he had the final say in terms of deals, though, so I can understand his firmness and unfriendliness haha. This was my ""first time"" buying a car so I was pretty nervous about getting ripped off or being treated like an idiot. I say ""first time"" because I was there when my parents bought my 1st car in high school, but this time I was actually involved in the buying process. My mom came with me for support, and I got a decent deal on my 2010 CR-V LX 2WD. All I can say is they usually rip you off and treat you horrible because you aren't prepared to buy a car. You probably didn't research prices, get quotes from other dealers, find the actual invoice price online, or you didn't negotiate with confidence. I let them know what I wanted to pay, and I ended up paying that. My car came with accessories I did NOT want, but I argued and negotiated and got $1000 worth (to Goudy) of accessories for $200 since I didn't want to go elsewhere. The accessories probably were only worth $200, but a lot of people will pay $1000 without questioning it. I could have gone elsewhere to find one without those accessories, but I'm impatient and had already been searching for the past day and a half.I also didn't experience any of the racism that other people experienced. more

Got a good deal on my Accord and a decent price on my trade-in. Service has been good and they are very attentive both in the sales and service dept. more

I got a great APR, decent amount of a trade in and the service was friendly. I basically told them what I was willing to pay and they made it happen. Can't ask for more from a car dealership! more

I didn't buy my 1993 Honda Civic nor my 2000 Honda CR-V at this Honda dealer, but, since I've moved to the area in 2001, here is where i bring my 2 Honda's for their service. I really like the friendly customer service and the mechanics are open to explain the issues and what it will cost to fix. they will not work on your car until you give the green light on any problems they find. the shuttle van takes me home which is a plus if you don't have a ride home. they provide a nice and pleasant waiting area with complimentary coffee tokens. the express service is EXPRESS. after a particular time is does take longer but over all the express lane for quick oil change is great. the actual website provides coupons for oil change and they will give you a coupon on your next service (depending what type of service you just had). more

I meant to write this about 3 weeks ago but never got around to it until now. I had saved up some money because I wanted to buy my dad a new car. I am not a kid anymore and it felt good to buy something for my dad who never asks for anything but always provided for us unconditionally. I saw all the reviews about Goudy Honda and I was a little hesitant to pay a visit but my dad had his heart set on a Honda FIT Sport and they were the closest dealer to my house. Art the Asst. Sales Manager and ""Coupe"" Deville the General Manager were OUTSTANDING and they made the whole experience painless. I ended up actually enjoying the process towards the end. I would definitely recommend anyone to see Art and ""Coupe""!!! more

Wow! Are you kidding me? Writing a review of a car dealership? Yup and these guys deserve it.It has never been a pleasure to walk into a car dealership let alone walk away happy from one. I don't fall for the propaganda (i.e. marketing) of any product or service but their slogan at least on this day and at this dealership befits them...""Honda Helpful People"" indeed. more

One thing I've noticed by looking at the reviews for Goudy, as well as for other dealerships is that almost all car dealers get horrible reviews. I think this is because of a combination of factors. First of all I think that the buying a car is such a nerve wracking experience that most people really need an outlet to vent. Secondly, the whole nature of haggling over price, the uncertainty of the deal, the constant back and forth between salesman, customer, and sales manager lends itself to an inherent distrust of the entire process.Having gotten that out of the way, I have to say that Goudy Honda really treated me and my wife great. I sent out a request for quotes through Edmunds on Monday afternoon, within about 15 minutes Chay had responded to me with an email asking to clarify exactly what I was looking for. After responding he got back with a really great quote in a few minutes, at which time I told him that we would be coming out to look after I got off work.Fast forward a couple hours. We had said we would be out by 7:30, since Chay's shift was over at 8:30, however, we didn't get there till about 8:15. Nevertheless he stayed on (of course he doesn't want to lose a potential sale) until almost closing driving us back and forth from the main lot to the car storage to look at all the different selections, tirelessly answering every question we had and also making sure we were completely satisfied with every step of the process.After all was said and done we made a deal and picked up a brand new CR-V lx for a decent price with no hassels whatsoever.Now Here is where it gets great! Earlier during one of our trips to the auxilary lots Chay had mentioned that tuesday was going to be his day off in preparation for the crazy 4th of July holiday sales, but since it was almost 10 pm by the time we finished all the paperwork, and the car we bought had just came into the dealership that afternoon and needed to be inspected by the maintenance staff, they couldn't release it to us until Tuesday, bummer but what can you do right? But guess what, he makes a special trip to the dealership on his day off Just to make sure we were taken care of when we picked the car up. How awesome is that?!By far the best car buying experience I've ever had. Thanks Goudy, don't pay attention to these other haters!\r Oh and a special thumbs up to Jennifer ""The Paperwork Lady"". She is hillarious! I want to go back and buy another car just to sit in her office and laugh. more

My wife and I bought a Pre-owned Certified Honda Pilot from Goudy Honda and our experience was completely positive. From the salesman to the floor manager to the finance manager, everyone was pleasant to do business with. They all tried to accommodate all of our needs and treated us with a ""customer comes first"" attitude. At first, the salesman (Gary) wanted to sell me a new car, as all dealerships are known to do, but I told him that I would rather buy a used car with navigation, leather interior, sunroof, rear camera, etc., rather than a base model new car. He searched and quickly found a car that met all our requirements.When I told them that I wanted my wife to see the car but she wouldn't be able to get to the dealership until much later, the floor manager, Tito Puente (cool name, huh?) offered to drive it to our home for her to see it. I thanked him but said that the next day would be best. They held the car for me until the next day.The following day when my wife looked at the car, she loved it but noticed a small crack on the windshield and told Gary. Again, Tito stepped in and said they could send someone to our home and have the windshield replaced free of charge if we decided to buy the car! We loved that and took them up on it. (They replaced the windshield at our home two days later).The finance manager, Richard Mogg, not only gave me a great discount on their extended warranty but also called me couple of days after the sale to let me know that he was able to get me a better APR on the car. Wow! Talk about going out the extra mile for your customer. Who else does that? My wife and I were very happy with our experience and our car purchase. We highly recommend Goudy Honda. more

I just bought a new car from Chay Taing at Goudy Honda and found the experience straightforward. As long as you are well-informed about the vehicle you want to buy and get quotes, they will match any quote in writing with relatively little B.S. I was able to get a better deal than with the reverse auction site ""CarWoo,"" which gets people many deals significantly below invoice. Chay was not pushy in the least. Do your homework and it should be a relatively hassle-free experience! more

Wow! Never been to any other dealership that has helped me as much as Goudy Honda! Went to several of dealerships throughout SoCal and made my way towards Goudy. I was delightfully helped by Chay when looking through their many different selections in car packages. He helped me for a long period of time and answered all of my questions precisely. After getting the lowest price compared to the 3 other socal honda dealerships in the area. The manager Art even helped me out with financing and finding the right package that suited my budget. If you are really serious about purchasing a honda, make sure you stop by Goudy. I highly recommend anyone looking for a honda to go to Goudy if you'd like to save some money. The service was done in a day and completed by the time promised. they've also changed their service hours to 7 days a week, from 7 am to 7 pm which is nice. i've been here before, so it was easy for me to drop off my car (since all my information was already in the system). it's a convenient location, too. i haven't had any problems with them in the 2 years i've been coming here, so i will continue to bring my car in for service. more

I bought the 2010 Honda Accord from Goudy for my wife. Actually a friend of mine recommended them to me. Had a pretty decent experience there. The sales guy was friendly but not just that he knew what he was talking about. They gave me a good price deal as well. Bought my 2007 Honda Accord from Goudy. Actually a friend of mine recommended them to me. I was bit skeptical as I had never previously bought anything from them. But so far my experience at Goudy has been fine. What i liked there was the inventory, Goudy have a good bit of stock on them. service was ok. the sales executive knew his job, gave me enough options to choose from. the main thing is i did not feel rushed. and they also gave me a decent price deal on the accord. will i buy my next car from them? yes i will... I like this honda dealership. This is where we take our car for maintenance. The mechanics are good and know what they are doing. The price is pretty expensive, but compare to other dealerships, I think it's pretty comparable/average. What I really like about this dealership is that they provide transportation back to home, so that you don't have to wait for the service to be complete. We will definitely continue taking our car here for services. Had the car for nearly 5 years and it still runs like new. more

Just leased an Accord from Goudy Honda in Alhambra. We went through the Internet Dept and received quotes from multiple dealerships in So Cal. Wife and I decided to visit Goudy Honda as we consistently received calls/emails from different internet sales (David, Victor, and another girl named Mandy). Overall this is the most pleasant experience comparing to my last car minivan from Toyota. The Internet Sales at Goudy are extremely professional and friendly. When we got there we were greeted by David and negotiated with both David and another guy who claims to be the manager "Art" (don't know the last name), but they gave us a deal we couldn't refuse. Previously we were looking for accord 4cyl but went with the 6cyl as the deal is a much The only negative about the is the car washing/paperwork and facility needs an upgrade otherwise this is an A+ place to buy. Will be trading-in my Sienna for Odyssey in the near future and probably will be back at Goudy again! more

I recently leased an Accord from the Internet Dept and got a great deal. No hassle/game as promised over the phone. My sales individual was knowleageable and kept us well informed. The paperwork process could be better...oh well, we were okay given the olympics games were showing on the multiple TV screens. If you are looking for an Accord, go for the V6 engine! more

I got my brand new honda accord 08 coupe from Goudy Honda. The only thing good about goudy honda is their price. Goudy Honda didn't put the front license plate fram on my car and when i figured it out i called my sales person ""ART CHENG"" he was so rude to me over the phone and hung up on me twice saying that he was busy. It was then i got in contact with customer relations to help get my license plate frame. I think Goudy Honda should really train their sales representatives on how to manage relations with their customers. Moreover, ART promised me price verbally and i drove from thousand oaks to alhambra to finalize the deal, he didn't even remember what deal he offered me and was demanding for more money. From my experience don't trust Goudy Honda. Worst in the world. Liars. Pros: Price Cons: CRM, change the offer once the customer is ready to buy the car, the condition of the car is not good. more

Ive had my Honda for almost two years and during all this time have had it serviced at Goudy. Not only did they take me home and pick me up in a timely manner, they were very friendly and very professional. Made me feel welcome and well taken care of. The service to my car was excellent, not to mention a complimentary car wash. more
