My boyfriend and I eat at Germantown regulary and are never disappointed. They have a great wine list and the menu has just enough choices to please any diner, yet not so many that you don't know what to pick. The Southwestern shrimp and the fried green tomatoes are our favorite appetizers and the house salad with the blue cheese vinagarette is quite pleasing. The crab cakes are the best I've outside of New England and always fresh. While I recommend either the plum pork or strip steak, the coconut curry salmon is amazing, too. The desserts are all homemade, with the chocolate bread pudding my favorite. The creme brulee is wonderful too with a cup of decaf after dinner.
Overall, I highly recommend Germantown Cafe to anyone looking for quality, value, and ambiance.
