The bad news? 2 trips to the body shop in a year. The good news? Car looks great, better than pre-accident(s) even. Straight, even seams, great paint, easy to work with, clean. No question where I'm going should the 5 series get bent again. Thanks to Ralf, Luke and Brooke! more

Great service and attention to customer satisfaction! Actual work done on my Toyota (they can handle any car) and did some touch up work at no cost to me. Very satisfactory experience. Cost was in line, and lower than some estimates. Pros: worked around my schedule more

I had my bmw worked on at this shop few months ago and not till know I didnt see that they did such a crapy job. After my last check up at the bmw they found out bunch of washers stuck under my hood hinges which were not even painted, just so they could adjust it right so it looks good from the outside. I am not sure if they didn't want spend more time doing quality work or this is just the way they do things there. NOT GOING THERE AGAIN. more

Great service from Bryan of German Formula! Took my C-280 in to check a sensor light. I was treated with respect. As a female going into auto repair shops I have come to expect that the guys will talk over me and not listen, however not in this case! Bryan took the time to speak to me about what was going on, tell me what he was going to do, then actually fixed the problem. In the end it was just a small fix. He was honest and fair. I will continue to take all my cars for repairs there even the non german ones. more

I have been a customer of German Formula for more than 25 years. I have never written a review for them, but after reading a recent review, I feel I need to respond to this.\r \r I own a Mercedes 300D and I depend on German Formula to take care of me and my car. And, they always have. I am very happy with their service and can only recommend them. Over the last 25 years, I have had both mechanical service and body work done, always to my satisfaction. Ralf (the owner) has always been fair to me and honest. The charges for the work done have been reasonable. And, believe me, I watch out for the cost and check up on it. \r \r It's good to have a place I can depend on and can trust for my car work. So, reading these complaints makes me wonder just how accurate they are since my experience with them has been totally different. more

In follow-up to your response, I certainly DID pay for the rock chip repairs. And the dent on the hood--well there was no dent. I was also very understanding that I needed to bring my car back after the paint had cured. That wasn't the issue. My dissatisfaction came with having to return several times for various issues such as paint overspray, rebuffing, blending lines, just general sloppiness. Many times it had been returned dirty and grimy, to include the interior. I spent hours on it wiping grease and grime from the seats, steering wheel, dash, etc. Pros: Convenience of appointment availability Cons: Bad workmanship more

Maybe my business was no longer welcome, as clearly there was something wrong with the car. The noise was very evident and why your mechanic couldn't hear them is beyond me. It turned out to be the stabilizer links and bushings diagnosed immediately at another shop. German Formula was recommended to me by a German friend who is also a mechanic (although he works on motorcycles). I have visited German Formula three times and each time they are very friendly to me and explain all the charges throughly BEFORE they perform the maintenance. I especially appreciate this because I am a woman and many garages in the past have tried to talk down to me or, worse, don't even bother to explain processes. I am also a student, so I am on a budget. I explained this and they did the necessary work, but made recommendations for work I would need soon - they didn't pressure me or lie to me to try and get me to spend the money NOW. I highly recommend this garage to anyone looking for straight-talk and honest work. more

I went on line and found German Formula and its excellent reviews and that is why I came to the shop today. The mechanic who worked on my car is nice to talk to and does know what he is talking about. He can go into detail and explain things if needed. I was there the whole time while they perform the work. \r
\r Everything went well except the part where they charge you. A job that take actual 2 and half hour of on the job was charged at 4 and half hour. The hourly rates are reasonable but they charge the 'book hours', I guess its been a while I been to a independent auto shop. I always though you charge what your time is spend working on or associate with the job .... a warning... The explanation to me goes by some jobs are harder and some are easier and to even and 'fair', we charge whats on the book... I guess I was not lucky to be on that end of stick ..\r \r
\r \r I would add the everyone I talk to are very nice... I would give a much higher rating if I were not being over charged. I still believe in you pay what you get... If I consider paying the same... I would shop around for more.. So believe in what you read and research more.\r \r \r Overall service .. Above average\r Friendliness of the place ...
