I woke up hungry and wanted a real breakfast so at around 10 AM I drove to Genny's on Frankfort Avenue. The last time I was there was about 4 years ago for lunch. It was good then so I thought I would give them a try for breakfast.\r
\r
I ordered fried potatoes, ham, gravy, toast and coffee. The waitress was fast and friendly. She brought my coffee and kept the refills coming.\r

I looked around while waiting and noticed the place hadn't changed much since my last visit. The tables, decorations, fish tanks were all as I remembered them. Not a fancy place, but that's not why I came here.\r
\r
Within a few minutes my order was brought to my table and, wow, was I suprised. A large serving of potatoes (I mean real fried potatoes with onions and cooked to perfection), an ample serving of tasty ham, bowl of gravy, toast and more hot coffee.\r
\r
For some reason, when I left I wasn't hungry anymore. In fact, I wasn't hungry until supper. I think I'll go back soon.\r

For $7.00 + tip, a meal fit for a king (or a hungry person).
Pros: Good food and plenty of it.
Cons: They don't open until 10 AM.
