Businiess name:  Genny's Diner
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I have visited diners in many states, therefore knew that they were not known for their cleanliness or attention to health codes; however, Genny's was absolutely awful. The bathroom was right near the entrance to the kitchen, and the smell of feces permeated the hot and stuffy dining room. Three of the four of us who went there that day wanted to leave. We settled for appetizers (not impressed) and tried to avoid not touching the sticky table. There were grimy fish tanks in the dining room that had probably not been cleaned in years. I can recognize that it's a staple in Louisville, however I will never return. You can find other locally owned burger places that are just as good. Many swear by Genny's, but I would rather go somewhere where I could have peace of mind that their food was safe to eat.
