You can feel it! 4/12/2012

Gotta find a time and go again!! how passionate the servers and chefs are. I really enjoy my food and experience there. I was recommended by my friend since he bought coupon for Geisha naked sushi event before, and he enjoyed it. I did not go to their naked sushi party, but I did try their hibachi dinner. What a big surprise! I did not expect that the chef had a lot of tricks as they were cooking the food. He is a really funny guy, and also a professional chef. I love the filet mignon and the lobster pieces. I only tried its creamy horse roll, which inside had some cheese and spicy tuna, but I have already fell in love with their rolls. Every roll seems to have its own style and taste, so I must go back there and try all their rolls. yumyum more

FAB! 4/10/2012

Ive never been happier witch such a clean and delicious restaurant, my time here wasincredicle.\r We started off with some cucumber and red rock rolls, with some cold sake, the sake was just as good as the sushit. we ordered to sushi that looks like burritos i forgot what there called but WOWWW these were to die for..we had some hot sake to wash our food down, and green tea mochi. this place is great i highly recommend! more

BEST HABICHI IN THE VALLEY 4/3/2012

this place is fantasticoo! The geisha steak and sushi has been around for a while now, there are 3 locations, but this one is on the south side, its not too hard to find, and its in a great plaza, super quiet, not alot going on. Inside is super clean, and you get greeted by almost everyone, The chefs are great, and you get what you pay for. They give you a good portion of food, and the sake is BOMB! more

One of those hidden treasures the tourists will never find. 7/26/2008

What I like best is the staff, especially Ben. I can't remember a friendlier chef. And skilled, too. He has been learning the art of sushi making from his father since he was five. Now at 20 years old he has shown the makings of a great master. But more importantly, he has shown a genuine desire to make friends and show his guests a good time.\r The place itself is pretty nice as well. The decor is modern and still very new feeling, and the room is spacious. I doubt at full capacity anyone would feel crowded. There is a long sushi bar at one end, a regular bar at the other. The center is filled with tasteful tables and a island for guests to sit and enjoy what looked to be a Mongolian BBQ type meal. But I was interested in the sushi, and the 50% off lunch special, so over to see Ben I went.\r The fish is very good, which is important. The rice is not my favorite in town but still decent, and I admit I am something of a snob when it comes to sushi rice. Interestingly, he makes a variety of different rolls I have not seen much around here, with wonderfully complex flavors and textures. I especially recommend the Geisha roll, but be warned that the super specialty rolls are not covered by the lunch special. Still it was the nigiri that impressed me most, artfully made, just the right size and ratio.\r Speaking of price, I am amazed at how inexpensive everything was. Even without the lunch deal most rolls are about $4, a bargain for their size and flavor. The super rolls get on around $10, about what a lesser one would cost you on the strip.\r All in all it was very satisfying and I will be going back, often. It's a little slow right now, but once people start to realize it's there... well I just hope Ben remembers me and can slip me a seat at the bar. Pros: Service and food Cons: A bit of a drive for most people. more

Great Shabu shabu place! 4/26/2008

I've been introduced to Shabu shabu dinning by a friend at a dinner party and enjoyed it. Well, my mom wanted to go out for dinner last night with me and I was in the mood for something different. She had never had it before and it was right down the street from her house. We its friday night and we get there about 7:40. The place is dead, only two other dinners there. The decor is AMAZING. If you want a table you need to bring at least 4 people with you, otherwise you have to eat at the bar. Its asain style, A LOT of seats, fairly close together. Other reviews said service was poor, they must have gone when it was busy. Our service was exceptional, music was a light modern lounge style, a perfect fit really. The food was Fantasic! We ordered chicken and prime rib Shitkabyu?? Basically its Shabu shabu with a more flavorful broth. Highly recommend trying this place. The food is good and its totally different from anything else! Pros: Very different, converstation starters Cons: if they get busy they may be understaffed more

Great for ANYDAYor EVERYDAY 4/18/2008

This place is Best place in Las Vegas for shabu-shabu or SUKIYAKI! My boyfriend n I go there at least 2-3 times a week...its so addicting, so healthy, and flavorful!!! it is such a fun experience! The MUSIC is great...the service is good a little shy i think (but they just open so i understand)...the place is sometimes empty im guessing beacuse a lot of people here in vegas dont know a lot about SHABU SHABU.....but when they open the sushi bar that will help! more

Good value 3/29/2008

Delicious tasting food...better prices than other shabu shabu I've had in Las Vegas...had to ask for help too many times instead of being offered help with the cooking, etc....horrible music (they played ""hip hop"" loudly which is a total disconnect for a Shabu Shabu restaurant...anyway...my teens liked that part even if I didn't. Pros: Not too busy Cons: Hip Hop music more
