I have been a customer of Gallett Air for the past 13 years. The only experiences I have had were exactly what any paying consumer would expect, courteous and professional in every sense. Their technicians are uniformed clean cut knowledgeably and competent. When ever they had a technical issue they would immediately contact there Head Technician Paul M. Who would either answer their question or come to my home himself to make sure the issue was corrected. Their rate of turn over with respect to technicians must be very low because I have known Paul and few others since I first contracted Gallett. Recently I had a concern with respect to the rising cost that all business are subjected to in this dire economy and here is where Gallett differentiated themselves from their perceived competitors; my concern was addressed and satisfied above and beyond my expectation by Carmine Galletta himself. The bottom line is Carmine earned my continued loyalty because of his respect and concern for my family and proved we were not just a faceless account. I want to personally thank Carmine, Carla, Paul and the entire staff at Gallett Air. Let me close by whole heartedly endorsing this company. Have no concern and do not hesitate to contract them, I assure you of quality service with a personal touch. more

Have maintained a service contract on our heating & AC with Gallettair Inc. We had been very satisfied with routine maintenance. Also had used them to install a humidifier unit and all was satisfactory. Just recently we needed a repair on one of the gas burners. We were given an estimate and although we felt it was very high we assumed the repair was a big job from the description. The part replaced was a drip pan and the labor involved turned out to be under an hour. The service man did a very neat job and we assume our problem is resolved. However it is an outrageous price for a part the was no larger then a baking pan and 1 hour labor. Our charge was $ 600 plus\r After expressing our displeasure with management we were told that there are hidden costs that are included in that charge. If your labor rate is $185 an hour, how can you justify this cost we argue. My husband was told to check around on the cost of that job. To late for us but after doing so we have estimates of half that Galletteair price. We would naturally assume as long time repeat customers who pay this company yearly for maintenance they would be our go to and we would be treated reasonably and fairly. It is not my usual to not trust, but it is a lesson learned at a very high price. We are now in sear4ch of a better experience in heating and AC maintenance contracts. This will be my final attempt to contact jodi009. I cannot rectify her concerns if there is no dialog between us. In fact, at this point, Im questioning if the rating by jodi009 is even be valid. The internet is a wounderful source of information. However, it can also be a place where good companies suffer at the words of annomous and sometimes false postings. Reputable company's are always willing to make things right for their customers when they are not completely satisifed. Before the internet people spoke face to face or by telephone and things were taken care of. People posting hurtful or false reviews should be made aware although they may think that they are posting anonymously, their computer does in fact have an IP address. In most cases its better to make a phone call to resolve issues, as most companies work extremely hard to maintain their reputations and are willing to assist their customer, as we are here at GallettAIr Inc. Gallett air is not the best company to deal with in this buisness. The owner is quick to give a quotation and pricing for a new job. And thats the last you will see of him. The owner never checks on the quality of work. Once the job is complete they get paid and off they go. Cant speak with owner and techs are always busy because of a heating or cooling emergency. So I would select another company to do heating or airconditioning and get better customer service for spending all that money. Good luck. more
