Awesome Program 7/9/2009

I signed up to do 1 session to get in shape for summer and had only intended on doing that one . I am now on my 3rd session and will continue to do many more. Go fit has amazing trainers that are very knowledgable and caring. This program is very motivating and everyone in the class and trainers are so supportive. If you have an injury or need special assistance with anything the trainers will be there for you and help you with what you may need. I would recommend this program for beginners or advanced. Hands down, this is the best program in Austin! Pros: amazing trainers and work outs!! more

GoFit is the best in Austin 7/9/2009

I am in the middle of my third session and have already signed up for two more! I typically do not stay with my workout plans, but GoFit has kept me motivated. The three women that put it on are not only amazing, but they also always make you want to show up to the workouts. They motivate and encourage you throughout the entire hour to work hard and do your best. I have seen great results over the past three months. This program, by far, has been the best that I have found in Austin. I have tried many different workouts in Austin and this is the only one which has kept me motivated. I not only am enjoying my results, but am also actually excited to work out! Pros: Great Trainers, ""Do anywhere"" work outs, GREAT RESULTS! Cons: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! more

It is GREAT! 6/23/2009

I am about to start my 3rd bootcamp session! I did not even think I would make it through the first week, and I plan on doing it for months to come. I did not work out that much at all before I started, and definately didn't run! Now I feel like I am stronger and getting more fit after each week. I have lost about 6 lbs after two weeks, and my clothes are fitting better. The teachers are great and provide a very positive environment. I went to both Tricia and Kim. It is Great! more

This was the first boot camp that I have ever done. I enjoyed it so much I am about to begin my third session. I found out about it through a friend and a group of us decided to get in shape for a friend's wedding because we were all bridesmaids. ""Bridesmaid boot camp"" we called it! Anyway, I had a blast! The trainers are very personable, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I found that it was very helpful to find all the ways that I could utilize the outside for my workout rather than staying inside at the gym. I lost weight (about 5-7 lbs.) and felt 10 times better. I found I had a lot more energy!! I can't wait to start again. more

Motivating staff and great FUN workouts! 8/20/2008

I am about to get married in 10 days! Like most brides I wanted to tone up and drop a little bit of weight! Totally satisfied. I have done the getfit quick (not for the weak hearted (like me!...but it was fabulous)) and the getfit bikini bootcamp. Tomorro is my last day of the bikini bootcamp and I have to say losing about 10 lbs, attaining 99% more energy, and being able to take in my dress 4 inches were all great results! Pros: Staff, Fellow work-out people, location, no weights! Cons: rain....but that's not even to bad! their still truckin more

I just started my fourth session and love every second of it. I had to take one month off recently, due to scheduling conflicts, and was counting the days until I was able to start up again. Pros: You feel great! more

If I Can Do It! 5/27/2008

Honestly, when my co-workers started trying to talk me into joining Go Fit bootcamp I thought I would be left in the dust, and embarass myself. I was 40lbs overweight and had not done any serious exercise in about 2 years. I just knew I would be slowing everyone down, or get left behind. Two sessions later, and 12lbs lighter, I am enrolling in the summer session. I love the cool mornings on Town Lake. The workouts are at your own pace, but it is amazing how much stronger and faster your pace is when you have support and comraderie. The trainers always give you options on how to do an exercise that benifits and improves you, but does not injure. So even though I have a ways to go before I reach my goals I know I will get there with Go Fit. more

Incredible workouts! 5/8/2008

I never thought Boot Camp was for me but now I can't imagine working out without ""GO FIT."" I'm on my third camp and it's fabulous! I love the variety of the workouts. Everyday is filled with different drills, exercises, and activities. The group camaraderie and the beauty of Town Lake make even the hardest sets bearable. I've never been in better shape! My run time has gotten faster, I've lost weight and inches, and I feel great! If you can't bear another gym workout and can't seem to get the results you want working out on your own, you really should try GO FIT! You won't regret it! Great Motivational Workout! 5/4/2008

I will be signing up for Go Fit Austin's Bootcamp for the third time and that says a lot! I don't like to exercise... I just don't like it! But I really enjoy this bootcamp! Everyday brings something different, a new area of Town Lake and a new fitness challenge. The women that run the bootcamp are very nice and motivational - not mean or harsh. Thanks Go Fit Austin for getting me ready for my bikini again!!!! Pros: Friendly, motivational, knowledge Cons: well.... just the exercise part.... Ha! more

Excellent Workout 5/4/2008

Go Fit's Bikini Bootcamp is a great program, it's so great, I'm currently enrolled in my second bootcamp! The boot camp lasts 3 weeks and meets every Monday through Thursday - I chose the early morning 5:45 class because of my hectic work schedule and couldn't be more pleased. Every morning we work out in a different location - on Town Lake's trails, at Austin High School's track and baseball fields, even near the Lamar bridge. Every person works out at their own pace, but after the first 3 weeks I felt a noticeable change in my fitness level. The first day's workout includes a timed 2 mile run, which you repeat again at the end of 3 weeks to track your progress - after 3 weeks of boot camp, I shaved 10 minutes off of my original 2 mile time. I highly recommend this program to anyone. Pros: Knowledgable trainers more

Best workout EVER!! 5/4/2008

I hadn't worked out a day in my life until this class and just after three weeks I feel that my fitness level has exceeded my expectations. Not only are the trainers motivating but so is everyone else in the class. I liked that every workout was different and fun and working out with a group helped me to push myself. I would recommend this class to anyone of all different fitness levels. GO Fit has changed me and my lifestyle. Thanks GO Fit! As an exercise pessimist, I'm going on my 4th consecutive month to GO Fit's bootcamp. Why you ask? With my lack of motivation to exercise, GO Fit makes working out fun and it keeps me accountable. After completing 3 months, I can fit into clothes that I haven't seen in a year, I have more energy, and I'm feeling less shame about getting into a bikini. Go Fit also provides you with a food journal, and I highly recommend using it. You will be surprised how many calories you ingest in a day just from small things that you think are healthy. GO Fit's boot camp is a great way to jump start your morning...and your fitness routine. I did the 3-week 5:45am camp last summer and I'm doing it again this summer. The initial shock of waking up so early wears off quickly and is replaced by anticipation and excitement of the morning's routine. Each day offers a different type of workout - from running, to hill sprints, to pushups, to relay races in the sand volleyball court - so it never becomes repetitive or mundane. Go Fit has a great group dynamic - very positive. People of all fitness levels feel welcome. Expect a challenging, high intensity workout that leaves you feeling charged. You'll see improvements in your personal fitness level after 3 short weeks. The routine varies so you don't get bored. You are outside, around the lake, in the grass... it beats any gym setting in town and trains the same muscle groups. Zero intimidation, high reward. It's a great way to start the day. Motivating and Energetic!! 4/25/2008

This was my first boot camp to get into shape for summer and i did it alone without knowing what to expect. Besides seeing definate results by the end of the session, i got to meet a lot of interesting and entergetic people. Everyone is very supportive of each other and the instructors are so enthusastic and positive. It was a great experience and I liked it so much Im doing it again next month. You learn so many new exercises and work out routines and town lake is a great atmosphere. You get in shape and have fun doing it! If you want to lose weight or tone up, or just get into better shape and feel healthier, i definately recommend Go Fit! Pros: you actually see results more

Best Workout I Have Ever Had!! 4/25/2008

I used to play sports in high school and was very active in college, so when I decided to sign up for this class, I thought it would be challenging, but at the same time a breeze. Come to find out that it was more than I had expected, in a good way. Everyday is a different workout and really pushed me to my full potential. This class teaches you how to use the outdoors (i.e. benches, the trail, stairs), so when the class is over you can utilize all that Austin has to offer. Also, the instructors are great, they take the time to get to know you and make it fun to workout! GO Fit is a life-altering experience and I cannot wait until my next class!! Best workout in Austin! 4/12/2008

Go Fit is the best thing that happened to me. I researched boot camps for about 2-3 months prior to starting and found out that Go Fit Austin was Austin's original bikini boot camp and the founders Kelli & Kim had been teaching classes for YEARS on Town Lake (Lady Bird Lake). I showed up on the first day and was nervous since I hadn't worked out in quite awhile and didn't want to be left in the dust or bring anyone down because of my lack of speed. Luckily, that never happened! The Go Fit team caters to all skill levels and everyone really can do the workouts and be challenged. Needless to say, Go Fit helped me strengthen my body, increase my endurance and IMPROVE my attitude. Since I do the afternoon class, I no longer come home from a long day in a bad mood. Boot camp helps make those stressful days melt away. The Go Fit classes are filled with such a great group of men and women of all ages and exercise levels that even if you do sign-up alone, you're bound to have a great time and find lasting friendships. In my opinion, if you commit yourself to just one, three-week class-you will be hooked and amazed at how much those 3 weeks change your lifestyle. Pros: Great workouts. Loads of Fun with a side of Fitness 4/8/2008

This is a life altering experience! Kelli and Kim were our trainers and they were awesome! They always kept us motivated and smiling even at 5:30 in the morning. The exercises are unforgettable and very easy to do at home. The challenges they put us through were great and afterwards it leaves you thinking that you had no idea you could do all that. This opportunity not only gives you the chance to get swimsuit ready it also introduces you to some wonderful people. Go Yellow Team! more
