If you read this, quit looking and make the appointment 10/11/2010

This guy is truely fantastic! Now my only worry is that I'll have to wait months to get in if the word gets out! I've never written a review but he's worth it, and I thank the ones that did before me. I have lived in many different cities across the country and when it comes to finding another great salon, its painful! I returned to Indy and tried a new salon-didn't return. I found Greg online, seen great reviews, so I give it a try. Simpy speaking, he's awesome. Period. I didn't have pictures to show my usual ""do"" but by a few words, and he knew. He's easy-going, great personality, fun, and most of all awesome with those shears! He keeps up-to-date on the latest and greastest stuff. Bottom line: a guy with true art skills. Hands down one of the best I've seen. Greg: just make sure I can get an appointment! more

A very happy client! 9/20/2010

I absolutely love my hair! Greg did a wonderful job, correcting my color along with an amazing haircut. I couldn't be happier. I took advantage of the 15 min. consultation which I highly recommend. When we set up my appointment two days later, I recieved a confirmation via email along with a quote. I found that this was very helpful. I found both Greg and Joe to be very professional on the phone and in person. I also appreciated the personal attention I recieved when I came for my appointment. I would highly recommend this salon. more

Worth every penny! 9/8/2010

Greg and Joe, the owners of this salon, are wonderful. I literally found them using Google! They worked with my crazy schedule, and I have a gorgeous head of hair which I owe to them! They did a fabulous job, from the cut to the Brazilian Keratin treatment, and I was able to go to work right afterwards without any issues! The best part is that the service is efficient, and they make you feel very comfortable at the same time. You never feel like they are in a hurry. I have had a tough time finding stylists that I trust, and I am VERY particular about my hair. If you feel as though you need a change of pace and want to have your hair cut by someone who has been all around the world, definitely try this salon. You won't be sorry! more

Wonderful salon experience 9/3/2010

I have been searching for the ""great"" hair stylist for a long time and my search is over. Greg is very professional, listens to your concerns about your hair, and offers suggestions. He is an extremely talented stylist. The mini massages (hand and neck & shoulder) are part of the wonderful experience at his salon. This was the best salon experience that I have ever had. Go to Greg and be prepared to be pampered and to have an incredible hair cut!! more

OMG! I definitely found my new hair stylist. He is so talented and so thorough with everything he does! He gave me a neck AND hand massage and the best shampoo ever...he definitely wants to make you feel like royalty. ha. The moment I walked in there he was so friendly and he helped me decide on what he thought would look good on me. and guess what! it was the best haircut ever and he definitely knows his stuff! If you're looking for a new hair stylist definitely go to him! THANKS GREG! more

YES! I finally found a salon in Carmel that knows hair! Greg from G Michael Salon is the best hair stylist and I loved the neck and shoulder massage he gives with all of his haircuts. G Michael Salon is the place with the best hair services! Highly recommend more

You have to meet Greg! 8/14/2010

I'm not kidding when I say, ""You have to meet Greg!"" He gave me the best hair color/highlighting I have ever received. On my first visit, I only had time for color/highlighting as I was attending a wedding that afternoon. I LOVED it. I went back a few days later for the cut. I immediately scheduled my daugher for color and cut. Greg is an artist. YOU are his client, and he treats you special from the moment he meets you. I'm sad to say, that I am moving to Charlotte, NC, and I wish I could take him with me. Fortunately, my daughter is staying behind, so I will have an opportunity visit him when I am back in town. If you want a perfectionist, someone who is on the cutting edge of color and cuts, and someone who really cares about how your hair looks when you leave his salon, then you really need to run, not walk to G Michael Salon. You will not regret it. more

G michael salon is a really hip hair salon in Carmel. Greg's haircuts are the best and my wife loves when I say I am going to get my haircut here. The salon is really cool and you feel like you are the only one that matters which is different from other hair salons I have visited. Try this place out! more

OMG! 8/3/2010

I am from out of town on business. I skeptically looked through the internet for local hair salons. I was trusting a stranger to cut my hair! If they get it right....great! If they don't.... I have to let it grow back out, which could take months! So I did not take this research lightly!!! The ad caught my eye...very professional and impressive. I decided to chose G Michael Salons. Nervously, I walk into the salon and immediately I was treated like royality! I got a head and neck massage and I actually got a true ""take your time and make it enjoyable"" shampooing and conditioning! While Greg allowed the conditioner to work it's magic he gave me a mini-facial...OMG! It was wonderful. He listened to my requests, evaluated my cut, processed the information and then he made his recommendations and explained what he was going to do! By this time, he had gained my total trust! The cut was awesome. First time a stylist actually cut my hair visually and not symmetrically. I don't care how it's done....I just want it to look even. My hair parts thickly on one side and every stylist wants to cut it symmetrically.... making it even on both sides! Then when I part my hair naturally, my hair is thick on one side and thin on other side. When my hair grows out, I have helmet hair because of the layers at the top are thick and the bottom of my hair is thin. My hair cut is awesome.... and so soft! I don't know what he used but the products where top notch! I am actually thinking of driving 5 hours to keep this style up!!! Thank you Greg ...what a great experience. more

Meticulous stylist, unique salon concept 7/29/2010

I am new to town, and found g.michael.salon online - and decided to go there mainly because of all the rave reviews. I had a little bit of trouble finding it, because it's inside a building which is labeled Sola Salon. The concept is actually really neat, though- the building is full of individual salons where each stylist has their own mini-salon. It's a cool experience because you are with the stylist the entire time without being passed off to other people or having the commotion of an entire huge salon around you. Greg is fantastic - I needed advice on my color/cut and I had complete confidence that he would get it right - and he DID! My hair looks fantastic, and I actually didn't have to come home and restyle it immediately after I left, like I usually do. Greg is very meticulous, yet still quick. I will definitely be back! I have been living in Indy for three years and finally found Greg! Wish I could have found him sooner. I have been to him twice and both times I've had great experiences. Being new to town, I had just reviews to rely on to find a new salon. The reviews for Greg were excellent so I gave him a try, and I was not disappointed! Greg is a perfectionist, he knows what looks good and takes the extra time to get it just right. He cares and asks lots of questions to ensure you get the right experience. He is the consummate professional, and since I'm coming to Indy from a larger market on the east coast I can say he's as good or better than any salon I've been to. Style from someone you really like! 7/24/2010

Have you ever left a salon feeling like you've paid (handsomely) to be treated poorly? Not with Greg! I'm all about feeling like I'm getting best-in-show services from someone who's trained with the masters. I'm picky. But who needs attitude and who wants to feel rushed or passed off to someone else to highlight or style? No snobbery here, just genuine talent. I've been searching for someone who gets me and my hair and makes it a fun experience. Lived in Chicago, Charlotte and more and Greg is as good as they come. Plus, he's sweet and fun and he listens! Finally, he nailed my highlights ('wheat' not red) and gave me guidance on growing out and a trim to suit my face, features, etc. Prices are more than reasonable and you walk into an intimate space that's just you and Greg (and sometimes Joe, who I also love)! Exactly What I Was Looking For!!! 7/22/2010

I have lived in Phoenix, San Francisco and Southern California. I have visted numerous stylists and Greg is the best I have found. I wanted someone to listen but give me suggestions on what would work with my hair. I also didn't want to look too young or too old. I change my hair frequently and needed someone to give me some direction. Greg did just that and I love my hair again. Great salon space, products and pampering! more

Simply put, Greg Lee at G.Michael salon is phenomenal! He is the most talented hair stylist I have ever had. He cuts with such precision that it is amazing to watch him work. Not only does he deliver the most superb haircuts, he ensures that your hair is healthy and in beautiful condition. My hair was extremely dry and coarse prior to going to him.
