Cutting Edge Style 12/2/2010

I have always been very particular about my hair and struggled to find someone that could style my hair to my stratification. That is until I found G-Michael Salon. I know that I can always expect exceptional service and professionalism when I visit G-Michael Salon. Greg is a very experienced stylist who is full of creativity. Are you ready to have your hair transformed? 12/1/2010

I am as you would say a salon junkie! I am always on the search for the best! I needed help and in a bad way! I am a blonde, who had been over-processed and had a lot of breakage, unsure where to turn I called this salon. I was treated special, like I mattered. Greg took the time to explain the process we would go through, recommended a series of intense hydration treatments to do at home for 6 weeks. Treated my hair in a delicate manner, and even asked if it did not turn out the way I wanted (since this was my first appointment) would I have time to stay so he could get it right? Wow! Just had my second visit and my hair is full of shine and on its way to recovery! I love the products cannot say enough about them, reasonably priced and they work! Check out his New location it is absolutely beautiful! This is definitely his passion! more

Awesome Haircut, great experience! 11/30/2010

This was my 1st haircut with Greg Lee at the G Michael Salon. I am usually very picky about my haircuts and a lot of times walk out of an appointment disappointed, but not with Greg Lee. He took the time to listen to what I wanted and then he added what he thought would look good. This is the 1st time I have walked out of a shop in years satisfied with my haircut and having a haircut becoming to me. I love the head and hand massages, this was just an added touch, but as soon as you walked in the door they made you feel welcome and happy to see you. I will tell everyone I know about this hair stylist. Also the location was very easy to find. So if you want an up to date haircut....try Greg Lee at G Michael Salon. more

An experience, not just a haircut. 11/16/2010

I moved to Indianapolis a little over 2 years ago and had been going salon to salon trying to find a stylist that I liked. While I got some ""just ok"" haircuts, none seemed to be artists at their craft. It was like they were relying on me to be able to tell them what they should do. With Greg, it's a completely different experience. He is the expert. He will listen to you and learn about you and then recommend what he thinks will be best; color, cut, everything. The best part is he has the skill to back it up! I've had 3 cuts and one color at G Michael Salon and my search is definitely over. The new salon is so dramatic and beautiful. Joe and Greg take great pride in their business and it shows. For the client, it means you get a great high-end experience. Being able to book an appointment online is so handy. Their hours are great (I'm not sure they ever go home!?). As far as I'm concerned, you won't beat it! more

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! 11/11/2010

I have had my share of haircuts and styles over the years good and bad, but Greg Lee from g.michael.salon blew me away with his expertise! I have been trying salons all over Indianapolis for the last fours years only to have my hair butchered by several very reputable salons. Greg not only provided a wonderful shoulder and hand massage, but he took the entire hour to talk me through every thought and process he was doing to my hair. I have fairly curly hair, and he washed my hair, blew it out, and straightened it all prior to cutting it- he explained to me by doing this, it allows for an even cut verses cutting it wet and curly and hoping it would be even! Genius and yet it all makes sense- why is he the only one to do this in all of the years of getting my hair cut? I don't know, but I am sold- It is literally the best cut of my life and it helps Greg and Joe are so likeable! So if you want to have an amazingly intimate and personal service, be completely blown away and walk out feeling like you are a victoria secrets model...go to g.michael.salon in carmel! more

Fantastic Salon 11/9/2010

I recently moved to Indy from out of state and was nervous to go to a new stylist. I located the G. Michael Salon on-line and read the many wonderful reviews that customers wrote. Well, they were all right! This salon is AMAZING. You don't just just get a typical hair cut, you get an experience. From setting up the appointment with Joe (awesome guy!!), to the new space, to the upscale treatment that Greg provides. Greg truly has a gift and is putting it to wonderful use at the G. Michael Salon. I have referred the rest of my family to Greg and look forward to my next appointment. more

Best Salon!! 11/4/2010

I went to Greg for the first time the other day. I have been trying to find a stylist that understood what I wanted, and was able to actually give me a cut I loved! Greg was able to do that! The whole experience was amazing and I would recommend G Michael Salon to everyone! This was the first time I have left a salon and not had to go restyle my hair! He did exactly what I asked for, except he made it even better! I finally found a stylist that I can go to regularly! more

Best Salon in town! 11/1/2010

I have always loved going to see Greg at G.Michael Salon, and now he's added another stylist, Jessica (Fererra) who is fantastic! She started off my cut with a relaxing and much needed head massage, which felt amazing. I love any service that starts with relaxation, and this one most definitely did. Then, being very methodical she went through and cut my hair exactly how I like it, nice and short! My hair can be tough to do with just scissors because of how short it is, but those who are good have no problem with it, and Ferrera is great! After my hair service she waxed my eyebrows, and did an amazing job and kept it pain free, a definite bonus! Most importantly, Ferrera is very friendly and great to talk with, and Greg was also in that day so we just had a great time chatting about everything and catching up. A truly great salon, a fantastic experience, and wonderful people who take great care of their customers! more

I LOVE IT! 10/30/2010

Fererra is AMAZING! I couldn't be more pleased with my results. She got me closer to my beautiful blonde goal than I have been in years. She has an amazing talent, precision, great technical skills, and is dedicated to providing the best services. Not only did I get the best cut and color, but I also got some pretty fantastic styling tips that I can use to recreate my syle at home! I had a wonderful experience and can't wait to go back for future visits! more

I have finally found a professional who can handle my hair! I had my hair CHI transformed once before and found myself on a mission to find someone else who I could trust. Great Service 10/28/2010

Great personal service! Greg and Fererra worked on my hair and made it a pleasurable experience. Both were friendly and candid throughout about exactly what they were doing/what products they were using and why. I felt comfortable asking questions, which is not always the case at hair salons. I am generally happy with the color, but will try to be more specific next time to achieve something even closer to my desired result. Will definitely go back! Thanks Greg and Fererra! more

Jessica Ferrera is an amazing stylist!! She gave me the best haircut and color I have had in years. She listened very intently as we reviewed pictures together, and created a hairstyle more beautiful than the picture I brought in. If you are in the Indianapolis area I would suggest checking her out. She is an amazing talent and gave great styling tips. Needless to say, the hairstyle she gave me was easy to recreate at home! more

Worth the trip!!! 10/22/2010

I travel from Louisville to Indy to see Greg and it's worth every mile. I love that he's always changing up my style and making recommendations that have me walking out feeling like a million bucks. I am in salons for my business and was super impressed by Greg's talents and the constant education he attended. I booked an appointment. Wow..seriously happy. It's the whole experience. From the first conversation..his patience and ability to listen..the way he shows you how to use products to get his results..the cut..the color..the finish...the massage...the massage...the massage...the massage..aah-hh-hh. Best Hairstylist Ever! 10/20/2010

For the past 2 years since I moved to this area, I have been searching for someone who can truly cut and style hair. I found that person today in Greg Lee @gmichaelsalon. He is innovative, precise and has a sincere dedication to his craft that he conveys through his knowledge and understanding of what he can do with your hair to make it work for you!! Also, he is very personable, which makes it so easy to talk to him about what you want out of your visit. I can't wait to go back and have another great experience. I am even going to get it colored- he had a great color he picked out to go with my skin and eye color! Thank you again Greg, it was a fun time!!! more

I recently visited the G Michael Salon for a haircut and had a wonderful experience! Greg was my stylist and he was great!! Along with the great haircut, he also gave me a few really great styling tips which I am now using religiously! Greg is an amazing stylist as well as a really great person. Finally!! 10/15/2010

At last I finally found someone in Indianapolis who really knows how to cut hair! Greg has a passion for his profession. He knows what he is doing with the scissors and trains with the best to learn his skill. Over the past 20 years I have been to the best salons according to local magazines and all have been overrated leaving me with a disappointing problem cut and not looking my best! After my great haircut and new style I walked out of his salon feeling confident and sexy knowing I looked it! Thanks Greg more
