My car died one morning, just about a mile from the Georgia Ave. exit. Miraculously, a tow truck was driving by and offered to tow me to the closest shop (where he obviously has a deal with the management). After about four hours, I receive a call from G&G saying that I needed the ignition module replaced, along with a new distributor cap, wires, etc. which would cost $1,100.00! Knowing that the module is located inside the distributor, and that a new distributor costs no more than $300.00 and takes about 15 minutes to replace, I had the car towed to my house. A new distributor, new wires, and new plugs cost me only $350.00 and took no more than 20 minutes total to install!\r
In order to get my car from G&G, I had to pay $203.75! The only thing they did was an engine diagnostic and took the cap off of the distributor (which was still off when I went to get the car).
