Fry's Electronics

Selected 47" LG 3d TV, spoke to sales associate Mr. Bruce who was helpful, told him that the same model is only $999 at Best Buy, he went to his Supervisor Mr. Chad came back and said that they can match the price. We both went to Mr. Chad, the Supervisor, who searched the model with Best Buy, said that Best Buy is out of stock of the same at the store in Irving, TX (online stock is available to order) so he cannot match the price and can only give it for $1099. Spoke to him and told him that I can still order online and get the same price. He replied that you have wait for 5 days, so as they have stock on hand, thats the price I have to pay if I need to buy. I was ready to buy, but this attitude of Mr. Chad is not customer friendly, and I will never be going to Fry's again. more

The Irving, Texas store does not honor its own policies. I went in to buy some car stereo speakers and was told that they would match prices. I found the same speakers at another retailer and showed them the ad. They said that they would match the price. I was ready to purchase them and guess what? They didn't have them in stock. I asked them to transfer them from another store and they said that they would. After a week, I called back and was told the transfer never took place because of inventory. Apparently no one could take the time to call me. I contacted the Plano store and they had the speakers in stock. However, they would not honor the same price guarantee that the Irving store said they would. Very inconsistent pricing policies. I sent a comment to the store and have yet to hear back in 2 weeks. I don't expect anything at this point, but will definitely NEVER shop there again. more

No matter what you are looking for in electronics you can find it at Fry's Electronics!! I LOVE this store... I can wander around for hours just looking at all the neat stuff that can be found there! You can't beat their selection for computer parts, computers, tv's, stereos, appliances, or really for anything! If you are looking to upgrade a computer or even build one from scratch they have everything you could ask for an then some! They even have electronic components like you would find at radio shack for the real geeks out there. Once you get tired of walking around (it takes a LONG time to walk the whole store) there is a little cafe with sandwiches, coffee, and drinks. more

In 2003, the Nasher Sculpture Center opened its doors, giving the public an opportunity to view Raymond and Patsy Nasher's 50-year-old collection. Masters like Matisse, Picasso, Miro, Giacometti and Moore have several pieces on display. Smaller, more intimate pieces stand alone in three spacious pavilions underneath barrel-vaulted, light-filtered glass ceilings. Monumental pieces extend almost seamlessly through glass doors into a lush, tree-lined garden area. The Center's lower level houses light-sensitive pieces. more
