I am unhappy with what a tune up really was. I was expecting the air system to be cleaned and all that was done was diagnose problems. The area where we place the air filter is still filthy. I won't be calling again. Just to note though, the technician was awesome and very nice. Very pleased with the service and price more

I thought I had found a really god plumbing place, wrong. They do good work but charge a fortune for it. When then come out to give you a "free estimate" they make you feel that your house is going to fall down around you if you do not get it done now. They ask if you want to talk to someone about it, when you say no, they whip out the papers so fast your head spins. I was afraid to wait another day or two to think about it because they had me so worried. Apparently I "misunderstood" what they told me time wise, I thought it would be done in about 3 days, took 8. It had to be dug 6 feet down and by hand since my gas line was on the top of it. They broke quite a few sprinkler lines but they did get fixed. It was quite a digging job and I have to admire the crew that did it. Kevin and his crew were great. When cleaning up, someone drove into or backed into my fence and knocked it off kilter, whoever got it closed must have worked really hard at it. the bottom half was two inches farther in than the top half. I had to hammer quite a while to get it kind of back to where it should be and would close, but still needs work. Broke and messed up quite a few sprinkler heads, they did give me $100 off to fix them but wont come near doing all of it. When my drain starting backing up I could smell the sewer whenever I did the laundry, thought getting a new sewer pipe would take care of the problem, but nope, it still smells like the sewer when I do laundry. I would not recommend this company to anyone, they are overpriced and make you feel like you have to do it now. I was very happy when I called and found out that Friendly Plumber could send someone out day-of because I didn't have hot water. However, I felt very pressured into the sale and uncomfortable when Justin entered my home to get me to sign the paperwork. Luckily there haven't been any problems, but I still felt like he took advantage of a mom at home alone with her kids and wished I would have had the guts to step back and say no. These guys are the best! I have primarily with Paul Johnson and Ian. Ian installed a new furnace for us and was awesome to work with. Paul did a number of rough plumbing jobs that included running a gas line to our kitchen so that we could install a gas cooktop. Both are extremely detail oriented and treated my job as if they were working on their own house. They also bring a lot of problem-solving skills to each job and made some great recommendations on how things should be done to avoid problems in the future. I have recommended them highly to a number of other people I know whe needed plumbing help. more
