Everything about this place can be recommended. We sat at the bar and received excellent service (including great recommendations) from several members of the staff. The entrees are feature the meat/fish more than pasta. Ours were both great and everything we saw look scrumptious. The wine list was big (but no overwhelming) and had a lot of stuff that you won't find elsewhere. The bread pudding desert was a great way to end things. A very solid dining experience! Pros: Food Quality, Service, Atmosphere more

Everything about this place can be recommended. We sat at the bar and received excellent service (including great recommendations) from several members of the staff. The entrees are feature the meat/fish more than pasta. Ours were both great and everything we saw look scrumptious. The wine list was big (but no overwhelming) and had a lot of stuff that you won't find elsewhere. The bread pudding desert was a great way to end things. A very solid dining experience! Pros: Food Quality, Service, Atmosphere more

We came here on a random weeknight for dinner purely based on its Citysearch reviews. We were not disappointed. We came and were immediately seated upstairs with an overview of the whole place, including the little kitchen area where the chefs were hard at work. It was the perfect ambiance - bustling but not too noisy. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable regarding the menu and wine list and even poured us complimentary glasses to properly accompany our appetizers. The food was delicious (the monkfish tasted just like lobster). Will definitely go back again and again. Pros: ambiance, service more

This is a great neighborhood restaurant. Everyone is extremely friendly and ready to please. Our favorite server is Decilio, so it is a bonus if you have him. The fig app is GREAT and you can't leave without having the bread pudding. I don't even like bread pudding, but this stuff is award winning! more

Frascati serves wonderful food and some of the most efficient and friendly service in town. The wine list is astoundingly good with really obscure and interesting wines that you don't see anywhere else but are yummy and good values. One of the best restaurants in SF! Frascati is absolutely the best restaurant in San Francisco. It is small and charming, with a very attentive wait staff. I took a chance on a special and was VERY pleasantly surprised. And the bread pudding is the best desert I have ever had-and I don't even like bread pudding! Pros: cozy, great neighborhood, wonderful service more

ended with a wonderful dinner at Frascati's. We picked the restaurant as we rode past on the cable car. What a great choice! Our server, Besilio, provided excellent advice on the dinner selections and wines. The food was delicious, the portions generous, the service exceptional. The atmosphere was casual and cozy. I followed the waiter's recommendations on desert and it was one of the best desert's I have ever had.
