Rich and Rebekkah (sp?) are outstanding hosts. This is the best/most comfortable/most enjoyable meal we've had on Russian or Nob Hill, and we've nearly tried them all. I highly recommend eating here - for business or for romance. Pros: Everything more

Based on the reviews I read I had to give this restaurant a try on my first time in San Francisco. I was not disappointed! The staff was extremely friendly, atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. A perfect place to stop for dinner on you way back from Ghirardelli square and very convenient with a cable car stop right outside of the door. Next time I come back to SF I'll definitely make a reservation at Frascati again!!! Pros: awesome food, friendly staff, wine list more

Based on the reviews I read I had to give this restaurant a try on my first time in San Francisco. I was not disappointed! The staff was extremely friendly, atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. A perfect place to stop for dinner on you way back from Ghirardelli square and very convenient with a cable car stop right outside of the door. I saw the last posting for the review of this gem of a restaurant and I was shocked! I have had the distinct pleasure of dining at Frascati numerous times over the years and have been overwhelmed by the warmth of the staff and the generously proportioned and delicious food. The restaurant is owned by a charming and gracious couple who put their hearts and souls into making this place a spot to visit over and over again. Tourists only wish they knew about this spot! Whenever I've been there it feels like everyone knows each other and it is bustling with the kind of energy that infuses the soul. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience a fabulous night out. Pros: Personable, Aesthetic, Warm, bustling energy Cons: , Sexy owners, Addictive food more

I saw the last posting for the review of this gem of a restaurant and I was shocked! I have had the distinct pleasure of dining at Frascati numerous times over the years and have been overwhelmed by the warmth of the staff and the generously proportioned and delicious food. The restaurant is owned by a charming and gracious couple who put their hearts and souls into making this place a spot to visit over and over again. Tourists only wish they knew about this spot! Dining Extravaganza!!! 9/18/2004

We had trouble parking and so went in to ask for a suggestion for a nearby lot. The waiter who greeted us went and moved his motorcycle so we would have a spot!!! This was the theme of the night!! Superb food...try the quail, the mussles, the yellow squash soup and the halibut!! I am drooling just thinking about it. The service was first class and we sat in the front window watching the cable cars go by. Just an amazing evening for a fraction of the cost of many fine dining restaurants. A must try!!! Off the Hyde Street cable car line, Frascati delivers a perfect SF dining experience. Rich, Rebekah, Tony and Al are welcoming and warm. The food is consistant and amazing. My boyfriend and I went to Frascati one Sunday evening, not knowing what we were walking into. Immediatley, I loved the two-level set up and the warm lighting. There is a real neighborhood feel to the place that is complimented by it's simple yet highly flavorful dishes. For a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and carefully prepared cuisine, this local gem is a must-try. You'll want to return to it as much as we do. I dont even remember where I had heard about Frascati. I know that I like Frascati wine but I'm not crazy about Frascati the restaurant. Its sweet that it is family run and the atmosphere is nice but the food tasted as if it came out of a pasta pomodoro togo container. Once was enough. Cons: , the service, the location more
