service was fast and price was exactly as quoted. i have had no problems with my tv since repaired 3 weeks ago. other shop said parts were not produced anymore but was not true as forum tv found them in 4 days. would highly recommend their services more

My teenage son's xbox 360 had the red ring of death, or whatever that ""signal"" is called. Husband called owner told him bring it in, it will be around 97.00 to fix. It's Christmas time and I did not want to spend the money for a NEW xbox 360. Took it in on a Saturday afternoon, expecting the horrible attitude the others wrote about. Yep, the shop has numerous TV's around. WHO CARES? As long as he fixes mine, I could care less what is on the floor. Man was as nice as he could be. Fixed it in 3 days at the price he quoted. No problems what so ever! I just figure EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinion, just don't believe EVERYTHING you read! more

Don't believe reviewer 196767, it is obviously the owner trying to up his rating. The other reviews are spot on and I wish I had seen them before dealing with this con man. I took my Xbox into his broken down electronic storage unit he calls a store to have the lens on the disk drive repaired. He charged me $100 dollars which I though was high but he was convenient and he said he had the parts so I let him do it. I picked it up two days later on a Saturday before he closed. I then went home to test it out and it was running slower than before I brought it in and still wasn't reading some of my discs. Since he is closed on Sunday I took my Xbox to another repair shop and the first thing he said to me was I had been riped off. Instead of repairing or replacing the $40-$50 drive, he replaced it with a $10-$15, 5 yr older and slower one. When I returned to his store on Monday to ask for a refund he was extremely rude and said that what I was claiming was impossible, even though the other repairs showed me how he had reprogramed the drive to look like the one it should have been instead of the older one that it was. Basicly it's like I brought in a Mercedes to a shop to get some transmition work and instead of repairing the transmition, he replaced it with on from a Pinto. DO NOT bring electronics into this con man unless you want to pay top dollar and have the guts of your electronics swaped out for inferior parts. more

I could not find his number and was call by the shop 24 hrs prior to my service. I have two big screen tvs in need of repair. I asked to reschedule because of unforseen last minute circumstance, and he blew up treat me like dirt and then called my job and complained and threatened my boss more

Rude dangerous & Rude 10/13/2009

Called about getting an estimate to get a PS3 repaired, was told I would need to bring it in so he could hook it up to diagnose problem. Brought it in & the place has TV's everywhere...he did not hook it up to diagnose..just asked me what it was/wasn't doing...told him, he then told me it would be 179. to fix (couldn't tell me this on the phone). Had my 6 & 3 year old with me, 3 year old tripped over a plasma TV that was wide open, face down w/wires & metal exposed and cut his arm. The man yelled at my 3 year old ""That kid...thrust the PS3 at me and walked away. After I stopped the bleeding in the car I called back to let him know I didn't appreciate the way he treated me and my son & was told to ""Go to Hell...that kid almost broke a fifteen hundred dollar plasma TV (laying exposed on the floor by the front door) and continued to curse me as he hung up on me!!! Awesome Repair Shop 9/24/2009

I have taken my electronics to this place since he opened the store. The store is unique it really doesn't look like a TV shop. Since I live in Universal City I asked around because shops come and go and I wanted to make sure I received my things in as good as condition as I left them in. The man promised an estimate within 1-2 days, he called the 2nd day and I gave him the OK to work on my TV-Plasma-X-Box and I picked up all but the XBox because of back orders. I was called when the parts came in 3 weeks and the units all work . I think it depends on how you handle yourself and if you actually take time to read your free estimates. My estimates give a specific amount of time to pick up repaired units because I was told they can't be a storage for the entire city. When my things were ready within the allowed time given I made sure I set up a time so that the person could help me put the plasma in the vehicle. All of my units came back in the same condition I did drop them off in. And the owner seemed to be a pleasant person and I have returned 2 different times for advice regarding what brand he would recommend I purchase for the HD TV which he stated Sony because parts are much easier to get and how to properly install something on my computer. So, I tend not to believe what is written up regarding the Big Screen because what person just will take time out of there day to help someone else if they are rude? Pros: Gave a Free Estimate and got back within 24 hrs Cons: Not enough parking in the parking lot to load TV more

BEWARE 9/3/2009

This individual ( it is not a group or a family owned business) took our TV, never provided an estimate, told us the ""part"" was on back order, REFUSED to put the back on the TV when we asked him so that we could remove it from his shop after more than TWO weeks. Was extremely rude, DID not care that our TV was SITTING ON THE FLOOR ""PROPPED"" against another persons' PLASMA TV when we had BROUGHT HIM OUR STAND FOR THE TV. I have never been so irritated with a ""establishment"" this place is fraudulent and I would not trust them with any of your electronics EVER. Cons: GOOD LUCK GETTING YOUR TV BACK more
