STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT FAULTY GRASS, LIKE BEING TALKED DOWN TO, AND DEALING WITH SOMEONE THAT TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY. I recently bought a pallet of grass from Fort Worth Grass & Stone. It arrived covered in snow mold (a fungus) and promptly turned brown and dried up withing 24 hours of putting it on the ground. I called to get it replaced or my money refunded. Phone calls weren't returned until I threatened to file on my card to dispute the transaction. The owner finally called back, told me that I was stupid, should get a clue, that he had too many problems to deal with one measly pallet of grass but would not pick up the faulty grass and would not refund my money. Do not ever use them for your yard. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. more

I have lived in Ft Worth for 14 years and have bought grass at least 3 times in both large and small quanities, every time I went I was greeted with a friendly smile, good service and a great product, any advice asked was right on the money. Reccomend to anyone. more

I bought 2 pallets of rock and was told they were both 3x6, note that the pallets were not beside each other. When they stone was delivered, it was obvious that one pallet was 3x6, while the other pallet is at least 4x6 (the stones range from 3.5 to 4.5"" -- avg is 4"") -- I called and Ross (he was very, very nice) said the owner would call me back. The owner was extremely hostile and condescending -- he asked me if he should fire Ross b/c Ross caused the problem -- I told him that Ross didn't cause the problem, he himself did b/c he was rude and not helpful...nothing like a 15 minute conversation with someone who can't take personal responsibility -- I will never do business with this company again. Owner, Jeff is very involved with getting things right. He reviewed my back yard problems of poor drainage and two active dogs. He recommending getting the drainage right with a French drain, and he even provided pointers to getting it right. He also recommended the Zoysia grass for my sod problems. The service was great. The yard looks wonderful. I love the Zoysia because it is so soft on my barefeet. The dogs love it too. It is like carpet and has been beautiful since day 1. The first time I entered the place I was greeted by a grumpy old sales person who could care less if he had my business or not. He had a look on his face ""as to what am are you doing here"". Awkward as all I had a question, ""Do you sell any stones for front yard gardens?"". He then mustard up a answer of disbelief and said "" I don't have man made stone, but I don't care if you look out back defacing the the store front. The moral of this story is do not purchase anything from a disrespectful vendor, who is not fully educated on stones. Maybe they should stick to selling sod and this probably the reason the store is always empty when I drive by, and i drive by allot living off Heritage trace Parkway.
