Fort Knox Security

This local TN company has done us right for a very long time. I would never go with ADT even though their door-knocking crews went by my house again yesterday. more

We added several glass break sensors thruout our condo and got the best price for them from our contact here. We have been blessed to find someone reasonable when ADT wanted charge almost twice as much for the same thing. I appreciated the deal we got and I feel like I am better protected since I have so many antique items in my home - some of them are priceless for the sentimental value they bring. more

I got an excellent package from this company and haven't had any issues. I set my system every night and it brings me a lot of peace of mind. Great service from this company and even better price. Highly recommended. more

What we got with Fort Knox was excellent customer service, consistent monitoring every time and a great overall value. Thanks very much to the team that was professional, responsive and paid attention to detail. I felt like they really cared about my and my family. The only thing that could have made it better is if I could have gotten security cameras, but I know this feature costs a lot more. Recommended! more

This company sucks! I signed my contract in January of 09, when I purchased my home. Recently, I have tested my alarm to see how long or if the monitoring company would contact me. There were times when it would take the monitoring company (which I believe are the owners of Fort Knox) 10 mins or more to call. I could be dead within 10 mins. I have received at least two letters from the monitoring company stating that the monitoring company would no longer monitor my home due to the fact that Fort Knox would not pay their bill(s). My contract stated that my draft would come out on the first of every month. In April, the draft was done on the 27th, in March on the 14th and in February on the 21st. What kind of sense does this make?!?! NEVER, EVER use this company. If you have an issue, they will never answer the phone and will not return any phone calls no matter how many messages you leave them. The address listed on the website, they do not occupy. The property is up for sale. They company can only be contacted via a PO Box and that is if they pick up the mail. Please google search Fort Knox and review the story that Andy Wise did on the billing practices, poor customer service, etc. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! more

hey Paydatbill22, I went with ADT before too, and these guys give a much better deal. We'll be moving from Tennessee to Kentucky, and I wish they were in that state too. Darn. Definitely choose local companies vs. ADT. more

I will never (I mean NEVER) go back to ADT. They have the worst customer service ever created. Best idea is to go with a small local company that does good honest business. ADT will rip you off and raise your prices each and every year. more

I really do not have anything to compare our experience to because we had our alarm put in after a break-in in 2010. We have not had one issue with anything and the people are good to deal with. more

Check with the Memphis BBB and look at how many complaints have been filed aganist this company. The owner also owns other companies that are also FRAUDS. They keep charging your account even when you cancel their services. They also do not pay their bills when work is done for them. more

after ADT gave us a system that had non-stop problems, we got FKS and they fixed the all. just stay away from ADT and their greedy, no customer service ways. -MDA more

I would like to say my experience has been a good one. The installation was good, system good, people were great to deal with. I have no complaints and would recommend. more

my girlfriend got them for way less than ADT before i bought the house from her, and we set the thing every night. whenever the system goes off, we get a call from the monitoring center right away. with all the neigborhood kidz running around, we feel better having this thing on even when we're home so we can know they ain't bustin thru our garage to get my tools. thx for the help more

Will not cancel service even after written letter was submitted. Continues to charge. This company does NOT monitor your system contrary to what you've heard. Mine has gone off mulitiple times with no phone calls to check on my family. They state it has to go off for at least 1 minute before they check on you. That's totally not true as mine has done this multiple times. Big time fraud and have taken money for over 5 yrs now. I can put a system in your house and not monitor it if that's what ppl are looking for. This is exactly what you get here. Good luck trying to cancel service with them. Hell I may as well be trying to get out of the mafia. I'm assuming they're in finanacial trouble per Security Consultants and will not have a company to monitor your homes after 10/31/11. Don't believe me call Security Consultants or Fort Knox for that matter. Enjoy. more

We moved across town and the folks in the office arranged our system to be taken down at the first location and reinstalled at the second location. The tech was courteous and knowledgeable. We got the system reinstalled and back up and going and are a satisfied customer. more
