Not Happy at all 5/19/2016

We purchased sheet linoleum for our kitchen. An appointment was set for Monday a week later. On Monday the installer showed up at 11:30 and did a little prepping on the floor. They then left to pick up the linoleum instead of bringing it with them. They returned around 1:30 to tell us they did not have enough of the linoleum. We called the store and were told we would not get behind if we could come out and pick out another linoleum. WE HAD THE NEW LINOLEUM PICKED OUT AND RETURNED HOME BY 3:00 IN THE AFTERNOON. We did not see the installers anymore that day. On Tuesday the installers showed up around 3:30 in the afternoon and proceeded to put down some of the linoleum. Wednesday they showed up at 5:30 and asked if they could come back at 3:00 Thursday instead of working Wednesday. At 3:00 hey did not return. I called and got some $@!#% and bull story about they had other jobs hey could not get behind on. WHAT ABOUT MY JOB??????? As of now, my job is not completed. I have a stove on the porch and a refrigerator in the dining room. Following FCandT's reasoning.....if they start a job and do not get it completed they will still go to the next job. If they don't finish that job....so what I guess, they will still go on to the next job and so on and so on. No one would ever get their job completed....... They told me the salesperson was to blame for not measuring correctly, they told me there was not enough linoleum on the roll etc and etc. The roll looked like it was 12 inches in diameter when I bought the linoleum. What happened to that linoleum? I have not been happy at all, still have an unfinished room and a 1/2 bath, still have a messed up house and kitchen and still have NO IDEA when this mess will be completed. We haven't gone anywhere else 3/8/2016

We've been using Florence Carpet and Tile for 16 years. We built the house 16 years ago and they did the floor. They're very friendly, very helpful and very efficient. When they say they're going to do something, they'll come, they'll do it. We've used them for carpets, for rugs and this time, we used them for granite for the kitchen. more

Customer service that is above and beyond 3/2/2016

It was a first-time bathroom renovation and I went in with some ideas, and Allison at Florence Carpet and Tile helped me and went above and beyond. She just gave me more feedback, particularly when it came to helping me match grout, the dimensions and communication with my contractor. The installation Florence Carpet and Tile did was granite but not tile. When it came to the granite, they were punctual and efficient. They had to come back and redo the sink--and there are no problems with it now. They really went above and beyond to make sure the job was finished to my satisfaction. more

Solid flooring work. 2/24/2016

Florence Carpet and Tile replaced our kitchen floor, the floor looks good and they were able to finish in a timely manner. Overall we were pretty happy with the results Florence gave us. No problem with the crew at all, they showed up on time, were respectful of the home and careful about moving things around and installing the floor. I would recommend them. more

Professional Service at a Reasonable Price 2/19/2016

The guys at Florence Carpet and Tile pulled up my old flooring and installed a brand new hardwood floor, and they did it in a completely timely manner. The salesman who helped me was very knowledgeable and gave good suggestions and the guys who came in and did the installation were courteous and respectful. I really liked how easy these guys were to work with, it was very easy to get a hold of them and communicate any issues or changes I wanted done. The best part for me was that I was charged the price I was originally quoted with no hidden fees or charges. They did a great job in a professional manner and at a very reasonable price. more

It was good 2/16/2016

I've been doing business with Florence Carpet and Tile for years, and when I need something I go back to them. Their service has always been satisfactory. They just carpeted two bedrooms and everything turned out fine. The installers put everything back like it was and they did what they were supposed to do--moved all furniture out and then put it back. Where they seamed it you can hardly tell it. more

Happy with the customer service, but not all of the work. 9/10/2015

I have hired Florence Carpet and Tile twice. The first time I worked with them, they did a great job. I really enjoyed working with the in-store saleswoman who helped me both times. She is very good at what she does. She helped me choose the tile, design, and to set everything up. She did a really good job. The first project they did was in my kitchen. They put in new cabinets, countertops, and backsplash. They did a great job, except for the woman who put in my backsplash. I did not like it at first, but they were very good about fixing it for me and getting it done right. I wanted to have my shower redone so I went back because I had, had a good experience the first time. I worked with the same saleswoman and enjoyed it. When she was setting up the installation I asked her not to send the same technician who put in my backsplash. I am not sure what happened; but I believe her boss made the decision to send the same woman anyways. I was completely unhappy with the work she did in the shower. It had to be torn out and done again. I am happy with the results of the second procedure. RESPONSE FROM Florence Carpet and Tile: Connie G., thank you for your feedback. My experience with Florence Carpet and Tile has been perfect! 8/27/2015

For twelve years Florence Carpet and Tile has done floor installations in my home. They did my tile in the kitchen and storage room; placed hardwood floor in the den and in the office. They had someone come out for the installation for hardwood floors this time. All I had to do was go in and tell them what my project was. They came out, measured, and told me the price. I rate them highly because I've had no problems about everything that was installed for me! more

Excellent overall experience 8/25/2015

Florence Carpet and Tile carpeted three bedrooms in my home. The staff was friendly and helpful. The salesman was excellent and showed me a wide range of products. The installation was timely and the technicians were very professional. I recommend Florence Carpet and Tile for friendly service and great selection at a good price. more

Overall Pleased! 4/22/2015

Florence Carpet and Tile were wonderful at helping me put carpet in one of my home's and vinyl in another. The salesperson was very helpful and, overall, I was very pleased with the help that I got and the the work they put in to making sure everything worked out with my home's insurance. They really know how to carry everything out effectively. The prices were reasonable and I will most likely be using them again in the near future for more projects. more

Accommodating for the most part. 4/9/2015

Florence Carpet and Tile was accommodating for the most part. The guys knew what they were doing, except at the end of the day it seemed as though they were rushing to get the work done. One of the workers said that they should let the floor dry for the rest of the evening before putting the furniture back the next day, but their boss disagreed and said it was dry enough for them to put everything back the same day. They just threw things back into my laundry room, which my husband had to work on because they did it incorrectly. The floor really wasn't dry, and I wasn't very happy with that. As far as the workmanship goes, though, I was very pleased with it. I also enjoyed working with Allison. She was very accommodating and always willing to be patient in helping me with my decisions. I wish them good luck with their business. Professional, quality, friendly, trustworthy, and stand behind their products and services. 4/7/2015

I've been using them for 20+ years. From the moment you walk into their store, everyone is nice and friendly. They're there to serve you. They don't make you feel unwanted. They give excellent quality service. They put all new carpet in my house, vinyl in my kitchen, in my utility room. I've had zero problems with them. They have very good quality carpet. I would recommend everyone very highly to go there before trying anyone else. more

Florence Carpet and Tile did a very good job installing new carpets for me. From the very beginning, everyone was very nice. From the sales people in the store to the installers that came to my house. There was one accident when they moved my furniture, however they assured me that they would fix everything. more

I used Florence Carpet and Tile to do some cabinetry and granite work for me and they are the best. The staff are super and are very nice; they are, by far, the easiest renovation team that I have ever worked with. They are very helpful to their customers and know how to make great suggestions, and the work they do is impeccable. My cabinets and granite counters look great. We are having them come back out so they can do some of my kitchen flooring in the next couple weeks and I am very excited. Their prices are very reasonable and I can't recommend them enough! more

Professional and very nice! 1/27/2015

Florence Carpet and Tile did the work when we needed floor covering for our kitchen and dining room. We had commercial work done, because we wanted something that would last. It also has a 25 year warranty. So far, I'm happy with it! We've had it for about two weeks now. The salesmen were very nice and helpful, and also the people that put it down were very professional and nice as well. They didn't even stop to take a lunch break, they worked very good and very hard! more

A positive experience 1/23/2015

I had a very positive experience with Florence Carpet and Tile. They did the hardwood flooring in our master bedroom, as well as carpet all throughout the rest of the house. When I went in there to look for the flooring, they had a large selection of high quality. The people who did the installation were great. They were arrived on time, which means a lot to me because punctuality is important. They were also polite and not scared off by our dogs, which was a big plus. They also went out of their way and sent someone from the store to help move the furniture. They did a good job of taking care of everything that needed to be done, and they took no shortcuts. Overall they did a wonderful job. The hardwood floor in the bedroom looks superb, and the carpet is gorgeous. It's also nice and cushy under your feet. This was my first time using Florence Carpets and Tile, and I would absolutely use them again. more
