Florence Carpet and Tile was accommodating for the most part. The guys knew what they were doing, except at the end of the day it seemed as though they were rushing to get the work done. One of the workers said that they should let the floor dry for the rest of the evening before putting the furniture back the next day, but their boss disagreed and said it was dry enough for them to put everything back the same day. They just threw things back into my laundry room, which my husband had to work on because they did it incorrectly. The floor really wasn't dry, and I wasn't very happy with that. As far as the workmanship goes, though, I was very pleased with it. I also enjoyed working with Allison. She was very accommodating and always willing to be patient in helping me with my decisions. I wish them good luck with their business.
RESPONSE FROM Florence Carpet and Tile:
We thank you for your business, and are glad to hear that you are pleased with the end product and enjoyed working with Allison. We apologize if our crew seemed to be rushing at the end of the day to get the job done. While some flooring installations require additional time to dry before use, yours did not, therefore it was determined that the best course of action would be to wrap up the installation before the crew left for the day so that we could go ahead and get your house back in order. While we train our crews to work efficiently, they are expected to put your house back in the same condition as it was when they arrived, and we apologize for your husband having to go behind them to get it right. One advantage of doing business with us is that FC&T stands behind our products and services, so in the unlikely event that an issue should arise, we will make it right. Allison will follow up with you within a few days to confirm your satisfaction.
