Flooring Depot, terrible, the owner changes everything on you, even the square feet and the price. He charges your credit card without your authorization, it does not matter if the contract states 3 payments, placing the order, upon delivery and after completion. Joe Prizzi, the owner charged my credit card twice without my authorization and without starting the job. He will tell you that the work is bigger in size or square feet when in fact is not, he did not deliver all the material I was charged for, but he insisted that his measurement guy told him that the size of my work was bigger than what the other estimates stated. He delivered less material than I was charged and in fact I even had extra material, but he just wanted to charge me for the wrong measurements from his ""measurement company"" , I had to dispute my credit card for this Becareful, his workers will charge extra money for work or material they said the owner did not include in the estimate. Please do your homework before you hire anyone, check all the internet for the company and owner reviews. more

After searching endlessly for the right floor I found Flooring Depot in Fort Lauderdale. Some of the other flooring stores I checked had decent prices but they were all very pushy and were trying to pressure me into buying a specific floor which I had no interest in. Joe Prizzi the owner of Flooring Depot was very helpful and gave me great ideas for my new wood floors, and in the end gave me a price I could not refuse. His guys came out and measured as scheduled and they installed the floor just as I was scheduled for it. I could not have been happier, and my floor looks great! Joe was so very helpful, unlike the other stores that tried to push me and up sell me on to products he took he time to find something I liked and give me a great price. It was also nice dealing directly with the owner. I would recommend Flooring Depot to anyone looking for a new floor, and they will definitely get my business in the future.\r more

I purchased tile and wood floors from Flooring Depot for my condo in Ft. Lauderdale, I always drove by the store on Federal Highway but never stopped in, to my surprise I must say the selection of flooring was much superior then most other stores I visited and the prices were much better then most as well. Flooring Depot completed my job faster then estimated and the installers were nothing short of first rate. In todays world it is hard to get first rate service without being any BS. Well I highly recommend Flooring Depot, keep up the great work and honest approach, and thank you Joe for all your attention to detail more

I purchased engineered Brazilian wood for my entire house from Flooring Depot and I must say after the work was completed in a timely manner I could not be happier. The job and product was everything Joe said it would be and more, Jan the installer was just a perfectionist. I would highly recommend Joe and Flooring Depot to all I know, My floors are beautiful... In Dec 2011 I purchased floor tile and backsplash tile from Flooring Depot and hired them to install just the flooring. A 50% deposit was paid at that time. Flooring Depot charged the remaining fee on my credit card before finishing the job and without my authorization. The job was never completed and the backsplash tile we ordered and paid for was never delivered. When I went to the store, the owner informed me that he had no intention of delivering that tile and that if I wanted to get it, I would have to sue him. more

The work was crap. Our floors had to be ripped out and redone. The most unethical and dishonest people I have ever met. They nearly ruined my house. The owner had the audacity to act as if his incompetence was my fault. He actually screamed at me and hung up on me several times. Then he would go weeks without returning my calls. It was shocking. I've never seen anything like it. He also manipulated the contract and charged us hundreds of dollars more than our original agreement. A total nightmare. more

Owner Joe did not disclose that the estimate did not include some other added costs. Joe said the people who would install the flooring ""work for him."" They did not. They were contractors. The contractors charged us an extra $200 for pre-work that needed to be done. This was never disclosed ahead of time by the owner, Joe, or the person who came out to measure. The owner would NOT negotiate after the fact. The job ended up costing us $200 more than anticipated. I would NEVER use this company again nor recommend him to anyone. The only good news is the installers did an excellent job on the hardwood flooring, even though they were a few days late. more
