Although Fitzgerald's was unable to repair my Jaguar, I appreciate the time they spent and the fact that they did not charge me for inspecting my car.

Very Down to Earth 1/18/2012

The owner, Dan, is such a very genuine, down to Earth, local business man and an excellent mechanic. He's so upfront and explains everything with vast knowledge and clear explanation of your auto needs versus options based off of those needs. He has great references and amazingly affordable prices. Honestly, price compare and he'll probably underbid the competition every time. He's not pushy. It's so nice to find an auto repair shop that makes things fast and easy. more

Great Service and Professional 12/26/2011

This place has great service and professional mechanics. I'm glad I was referred to Fitzgeralds Auto Care because my car was in bad shape. But when I got her back, she was running like a kitten. Thank you guys, your the best!!! more

Professional Service 12/20/2011

These guys have been around for quite a while. I went to Fitzgerald's auto care some time ago when I had trouble with my engine. The mechanics were able to pinpoint the problem and give me a reasonable estimate before performing repairs. The service was professional and I didn't feel like I was being ripped off. more

Lifelong Customer 12/16/2011

Went here for the first time a couple days ago with my girlfriend's car. It would start up some of the time and then wouldn't work at all. Finally we got it towed to Fitzgeralds because the shop is around the corner from my place. Now, everyone who I spoke to about the situation, whether it was the tow truck driver or coworkers all said it was the starter or some other piece of machinery that makes the car go (obviously as you can see I don't know much about cars) After Fitzgeralds did their inspection they found that all that was needed was a new battery (it had a short which was why we couldn't get it to jump). Fitzgeralds could have emptied my wallet with unnecessary work and could have made a killing from me. Instead they were honest which has given them a lifelong customer in me. more

Honest and Thorough 12/1/2011

I have been to a lot of different auto repair centers to get an oil change. One day I thought to myself, ""How do I know they are actually changing my filter?"" So I started to mark them with sharpies or sandpaper. There have been many times when I have caught auto repair centers claiming to change it, but not really doing so. I have not had that problem with Fitzgerald's - I appreciate their thoroughness and honesty. more

Kudos to the Team! 11/29/2011

I totally had confidence in leaving my 07 Camry here to get my triple warning lights (vsc, sliplight, & engine) checked & fixed. I was expected to nest away my tax return to pay for the huge expenditure, but the bill was a fraction of my pessimistic outlook. Never again will I decide to take it to the dreaded dealership mechanic and get nickel & dimed. Kudos to the team! more

A friend recommended Fitzgerald's and I hope that after you try them, you will recommend them as well. The establishment is spotless. The staff are fast, courteous and organized. Their oil changes, smog checks and service check-ups are also reasonably priced. They even do trip checks for a laugh. And, you even get a free oil change with your first smog check. more

Treated Like Family 11/16/2011

My serpentine belt started to shred and I could not find the problem. I took it to Fitzgerald. It took two days and about four belts but it came down to a water pump bearing that was just starting to go. I know they spent a lot of time on it. They charged me for the bearing, one belt and a few hours of labor. I know they only charged about a quarter of what it cost to fix. I tried to give them more and they would not take it. The only thing they said was if I liked the service to come back. Even though it is a little far for me to get to, I take all the families cars to Fitzgeralds. And after one and a half years I've always been treated like family there. Great place. more

More than Fair 11/13/2011

I drive a VW, which means that when my left headlight goes out, it takes an entire military troop and an act of Congress to change it. I had the bulb, but couldn't remove all the parts to fix the light. Fitzgeralds did it one Saturday morning and I think he charged me $5. Said he wasn't going to be doing anything else if I hadn't come in. They are so fair and really nice. And, he was talking about VWs and repairs, and how they won't fix Beetles, so I know that they are knowledgeable as well. I was really happy. more

They are great. 3/4/2010

First, I do not give out 5 star reviews very often. The professionals at Fitzgeralds Auto Care Center are that good. They came highly recommended, so I gave them a try and I was very impressed. I have been a customer of Fitzgeralds Auto Care Center for about ten years now, and I still rely upon them on a regular basis despite the fact I no longer live in Orange County. In general, the whole reason I like Fitzgeralds Auto Care Center is because they do not nickel and dime you. For instance, if you go in to have your oil changed, they might they might recommend having the breaks serviced soon but not necessarily that day. They might say you have 5,000 miles left and to go on accordingly. If you want to fix it then and there, great, but they just tell you what they see. They spend my money like it is their money. more

great service 8/15/2008

we have a jeep and a grand am with over 130,000 miles each.\r Fitzgeralds keeps them both running smoothly. My wife brings the car in most of the time and they always treat her right. They always tell us what we don't need done as well as what needs fixing now. Many times I was sure something bad and expensive was wrong, but Fitzgeralds found a loose hose or other small deatail and fix it free or a very low price. No rip offs, or tring to sell you things you don't need.\r \r big time recomenation more

They also give a 12k or 12000 mile warranty on their repair work. Recommended. more
