These guys are scam artists! Stay away, they charged me $150 for a 5 minute service call and didn't even fix the problem. more

Be alert with this company. They charge by hours so it can be expansive for a simple job. Even worse, if they broke something on the job and spent extra time to fix their mistakes, you will have to pay for it! more

I recently purchased a house, and within a day of moving we noticed the furnace fan wasn't turning off. We specifically asked the previous owners to have the furnace serviced because the filters were filthy during our inspection. We were given copies of an invoice showing that Fischer Heating & Air serviced the furnace and replaced the filters. The service record on the furnace was updated to say the same thing. So I called Fischer to come out and look at the fan. If it had just been serviced the fan must have been working fine then, right? What the technician told me was shocking, the filters hadn't been replaced! He had done the servicing himself and he said the previous owner asked him not to replace them. I was floored, how unethical is it of a company to invoice for something they didn't do! I think it is very possible that leaving in the dirty filters may have caused the fan to stop turning off, which caused us to call out the technician. When my bill arrived I called the Fischer office. I wanted to know why the filters hadn't actually been replaced, and why I was being charged for a visit that was due to their negligence. I was even more shocked to find out that they had a different invoice number for that previous servicing. Later on I spoke to a "manager" and they told me the technician was confused about who asked him not to replace the filters, it was another house. But it wasn't, I was there when he correctly identified the previous owner and specifically told me that he requested that the filters not be replaced. Plus my furnace still had the old filters in it! The evidence doesn't lie, but the people at Fischer do, apparently. I will never let these scammers near my furnace again, I can't trust anything they tell me. more

Just had Fischer plumbing come in and snake my sewer main. They came same-day, only an hour and a half after I called them and well within their quoted service window. Their cost was less than $250. They came out today after I sent Beacon Plumbing away when they quoted me $680+ for the same service (after being 1.5 hours late OUTSIDE their service window). The tech was super friendly and efficient and took less than an hour for the whole service. Thoroughly pleased! more

I wish I could leave a great review about my recent experience, but must warn that they will do work on top of what you approved and agreed on, then charge you much more than you thought. They came quickly and the work looks good and the guys friendly, but when I came outside they showed me that all that was done and never said they did more than was normally done. When I tried to pay, they said I would get a bill as they don't take the payment. If you have an extra 450$ to let them use of yours, then this is the place. more

We have used Fischer Plumbing for our plumbing need for years. From the office staff to the people who have come out to do the work they have always done a great job. One time when we felt we were over charged for a consult they refunded us for 1/2 hour. We will definitely keep using them. more

Excellent job, wonderful and compassionate people and fast!!! We needed a water damage specialist for an emergency and they were here in an hour! Les Griffith was amazing and walked me through everything that they were doing and what I could expect. When they left on day one Les told me that he would call me the next day between 10 and 11... he did just that and was here 30 min later.\r \r I would recommend this company to anyone! Generally you meet plumbers and water damage specialists under less than ideal circumstances and this company and Les are wonderful!!! more

I drove 45 minutes to meet them at the time they said the two hour time slot they didn't make itthey then called me later in the day and I drove 20 minutes to meet them they still were not there 40 minutes later more

Fischer has helped me in several of my properties. I really like their service. Not sure why they have some bad reviews on here- I was surprised. more

A+ Fischer Plumbing & Thank You. \r My grandparents needed some bathroom fixtures installed, a sink faucet & shower faucet/handle fixture. We had originally called Southwest Plumbing and waited weeks for the appointment. Southwest came in took a look around for 5 mins then tried to draw up a contract for over $1000!! So we gave them the boot and found Fischer Plumbing.\r Fischer came out in just a few days. Upon arrival the technician was courteous & professional. He worked his tuckas off to get things done right and in a timely manner. \r I left before the job was finished but my grandparents told me they were absolutely delighted with the service they received and the bathroom looked great! He even made sure to clean up when he was done. When it came time to pay the bill it was HUNDREDS less than what Southwest tired to charge them and Fischer even gave them a senior discount!\r I will definitely remember Fischer for the future. more

I had a leaking hot water heater. When Fischer arrived the first thing they did was to advise me that the heater was probably still under warrantee and that I could likely avoid costly repairs by simply exercising the warrantee. This had not occurred to me since the heater was over 7 years old and the ""Big Box"" store where it was purchased from has a bad reputation for honoring their ""warrantees."" But the Fischer technician encouraged me to try and within 20 minutes the ""Big Box"" store had agreed to replace my hot water heater for free. Fischer obviously got nothing out of the deal, in fact it cost them at least an hour or more of their time plus truck and gas costs. But what they did get is a ton of respect from me and a guarantee that whenever I need a plumber they are the people I will call. more

I've written letters to Fischer Plumbing and Armando, complementing them. I have had Armando out twice, and he has done an excellent job both times. He's very professional, and very courteous. He knows what he's doing, and that's the reason I called back last time and asked for Armando. more

I am a General Contractor in the area and have used many plumbers over the last 25 years and the level of professionalism and customer service that Fischer exhibits is unsurpassed. The skilled technicians are top in their field. Their business model is based on referral not ""one and done"" like so many. They will not sell you something you don't need to make their quota or bonus. Fischer wants to be your plumber forever. Their prices are fair and you can trust them. Very pleased to have this professional relationship. more

10 years ago, we hired Fischer based on their positive reviews and availability for same day services. It ended that we (our neighbors and our family) needed to replace our old sewage line from our property lines into the street. We were charged $6,000.00 for a clean out that was never marked, buried (which they claimed they HAD to - which in talking to other companies may not be true), nor did they provide us with documentation of location - which would have saved us a lot of time and money had we had this information! Fast-forward 10 years, we have to spend another $6,000. 00 to repair THE CLEAN-OUT that was incorrectly installed, unmarked, and now is overgrown by roots, in addition to a gas line that was damaged due to the search of the clean-out. When contacted, Fischer reported that they are required by law to shred all paperwork in 5 years (as a healthcare professional, I highly doubt this is the truth). Not only was Fischer not helpful trying to locate our old files, but now I know that their work is shoddy at best. more

Tickled pink with Fischer Plumbing! Found a water leak under our kitchen sink the day before Thanksgiving. Fischer Plumbing sent a technician out within a few hours. He worked fast, showed me what had happened and told me what he was doing and what needed to be replaced. He quoted a reasonable hourly fee, said they only charge for time spent, guaranteed the work for a year, and said the office would bill us. Such a refreshing experience. The technician was personable yet efficient, got the work done faster than expected, took away the corroded old parts and left the space just about as clean as he found it. Exceptional experience! Next time we have plumbing issues, we won't hesitate to contact Fischer Plumbing. more
