I would recommend First Choice Emergency Room to my friends and family. Their service was fast, convenient and thorough. Staff was friendly as well. Definitely a more pleasant experience than waiting hours in a hospital emergency room. more

My son and I went in on a Sunday evening with what I believed to be the flu. The staff and nurses there were awesome, very friendly and professional, not wait time - I didn't even have time to finish the paperwork before being called back - never happens in the hospital ER!! First time for a flu ""swab"" and the description was on point. The doctor was very friendly and knowledgeable. No flu, but my son did walk away with two suckers, two stickers and a Popsicle...he was very happy. I would recommend this clinic for anyone that needs ER related treatment, way better than the local hospital ER!!!!!! more

My wife Catherine has a serious adversion to Kingwood Hospital's ER. This dates from lots of previous experiences with children & grandchildren accidents & sickness over a 10 year span of time.\r Starting on a late friday nite she had stomach & back pains. By sunday they were not getting better. She refused to go to Kingwood Hospital's ER. We took her to First Choice because they could do a sonigram. They did & discovered enlarged gall bladder that appeared to be inflamed. They gave me a packet that pre-admitted her to Kingwood Hospital. Since she was ambulatory (seemed able to walk to the car just fine) I drove her to the hospital with my daughter. The daughter took her inside with the 1st Choice packet, and had her in a wheel chair by the time I parked. We rolled her straight to the preassigned room the packet had arranged. It was incredible. She was in a hospital room being properly diagnosed & treated within 3 hours of our decision to go seek ER treatment. \r By the way, it was the sunday the day before Veterns Day, not a time when every organization is fully up to speed.\r We accidently made an incredible wise choice in going to 1st Choice in Kingwood. We are truly blessed.\r more

I had a dog bite on a Sunday and I thought for sure I would have a long wait time. But I was surprised that I was attended quickly and the staff was very friendly even at a late hour. I would recommend my friends to come here for a minor emergency. more

I was in the area for a Family Reunion and my daughter had a irritation on her arm that progressively got worse. So we asked the front desk at the hotel for a Emergency Room. We found First Choice and was pleasantly surprised at the service, kindness of the staff and the overall experience that even impressed my 7ry old. It was a Great visit and when in the area I would not hesitate to return if the circumstances arises.\r \r SCook more

I woke up in severe pain at 2AM Sunday morning and just looked up the closet 24hr emergency room which was First Choice off of Northpark. The service was great and the lady that greeted me when I walked in seemed to truly sympathize and was very helpful and nice. The nurse and doctor on call were in my room within 5 minutes of me walking in and got me some medication to ease the pain after they were able to determine what the problem was. It turns out that I had gallstones... they had a CAT SCAN onsite to be able to see what it was. \r \r On Monday one of the nurses called to check on me and see if I had set up an appointment with my doctor, and I received a card from the staff today thanking me for visiting and hoping I get well soon. I realize that this is sent to every patient, but small things like that show me they go the extra mile for their patients. I hope I am not going to end up there anytime soon, but I will be going back to First Choice if I ever have to go back again!! more

In the middle of the night on a holiday (out of town) we found First Choice Emergency Room. I cannot say enough good things about the medical care my spouse received while we were there. This has to be the far best experience I have ever had in a medical facility ever. (and I spent 30 yrs on the police force and seen my fair share) If I lived in Kingwood or ANY city close to the area I would not think twice of going to First Choice. Thank you Dr. Arabzadeh, Jayme, Vivian and Jamantha more

By far the best ER experience ever! My husband hates needles, and Jesse got I.V started in one try. everyone was so friendly and helpful. After an unsuccessful try at Kingwood ER, and misdiagnoses, Dr. Smith knew my husband needed to be admitted to the hospital. We hope to not go to the ER again, but if we ever have to, our first choice will be First Choice ER in Kingwood! more

I went to the Kingwood location on a Saturday and was seen immediately. My doctor was very thorough and the staff was fabulous. I confirmed that they took my insurance so I only had to pay the copay for an emergency room visit. I was in and out within 2 hours. I was very satisfied with this location and would recommend to anyone. more

This was my first trip to FCER. I didn't have to wait at all. The staff was great the minute I walked throught the door. The nurses and doctors were knowledgeable and made me feel safe. I walked out of there knowing I was on the road to recovery. I highly recommend this Emergency Room, The staff were all very helpful & polite. more

No one likes a trip to an er with an infant...but I can say without a doubt that this is a place I don't mind going. Well..minus a sick infant... The folks at this location were absolutely the kindest and most compassionate care I have EVER received at a doc in a box. With 20 yrs and 6 kiddos worth of parenthood I can say I have seen my fair share of er's. Trust me this place blows its competition out of the water. My child was called back before I could ever complete the paperwork. We were taken into the room and NEVER left for more then a minute. I was in and out of this place in under an hour.... And when you have a cranky 8 month old with an ear infection THAT is a godsend. The doctor and the nurse as well as the support staff treated us with respect and dignity that you certainly would not get at a local crowded er. The staff was genuine and caring... Unlike hospital er's where you often feel like an inconvenience to the staff. If I could give them 10 stars I would. My little one is getting better and the doc even called the next day to check on her... I don't even get this with my pediatric doctors.. Very pleased to add this wonderful office to Kingwood.\r more

DO NOT GO to First Choice Emergency Room in Flower Mound! They are NOT upfront about their charges...they'll just ""bill you later."" My daughter and I made the mistake of going here when we were sick on a Sunday and now we owe them THOUSANDS of dollars. I've been making consistant monthly payments on the balance because I simply don't have the entire amount. They've been calling and harrassing me at school because the payments aren't high enough for their tastes. I've told them I'm a teacher and that's all I can pay each month, but they're SENDING ME TO COLLECTION ANYWAY! \r \r Thank you, First Choice, for your terrible treatment. I'll tell everyone I know that you're not worth it. I should have stayed home on a work day and seen my regular doctor. It would have been cheaper to pay a substitute teacher out of my pocket than what these people have put me through. more

DON""T GO HERE. TERRIBLE! 2/13/2012

When here for a minor emergency for my daughter. Staff was rude and overcharged my insurance which took me months to resolve. Had always went to Kids Acutecare before with no problems. Many people have had unsatisfactory experiences here. Ask around. more
