My wife Catherine has a serious adversion to Kingwood Hospital's ER. This dates from lots of previous experiences with children & grandchildren accidents & sickness over a 10 year span of time.\r
Starting on a late friday nite she had stomach & back pains. By sunday they were not getting better. She refused to go to Kingwood Hospital's ER. We took her to First Choice because they could do a sonigram. They did & discovered enlarged gall bladder that appeared to be inflamed. They gave me a packet that pre-admitted her to Kingwood Hospital. Since she was ambulatory (seemed able to walk to the car just fine) I drove her to the hospital with my daughter. The daughter took her inside with the 1st Choice packet, and had her in a wheel chair by the time I parked. We rolled her straight to the preassigned room the packet had arranged. It was incredible. She was in a hospital room being properly diagnosed & treated within 3 hours of our decision to go seek ER treatment. \r
By the way, it was the sunday the day before Veterns Day, not a time when every organization is fully up to speed.\r
We accidently made an incredible wise choice in going to 1st Choice in Kingwood. We are truly blessed.\r
