Big Green Egg 5/5/2010

Had my first meal off the Big Green Egg today that I purchased at Fireside Hearth and Home. They were so helpful and they have so many BBQ spices. They said that everyone in the store has an egg and I believe them, they were all very enthusiastic about it. They told me exactly how to fix my dinner. It turned out perfect. Can't wait to go back and buy more accessories. more

I usually only write about the bad experiences I have when I write a review. But with summer just around the corner and alot of people out shopping for BBQ Grills, I just wanted to share my experience. I just purchased a Napoleon Gas Grill from Arnold Stove & Fireplace Center. They were great. They didn't try and push me towards the most expensive grill they had. They ask me what I wanted out of my grill? And we went from there. Plus they already had one put together for us. They were very helpful to myself and my wife and I just wanted to say "Thank you."\r Bill more

Great Service from Arnold Stove & Fireplace Center 4/14/2010

I just purchased a gas insert for my fireplace. I went into the store with very little knowledge of fireplaces. The salesman took the time to explain the difference between each product that could work for my fireplace. He was not "pushy" like most salesmen are. The entire process went very well. The men who did my install were great as well. I am very happy with my experience and would recommend Arnold Stove & Fireplace Center to anyone who is looking to make a change to their fireplace. Next purchase will be a Big Green Egg from Arnold Stove & Fireplace Center. more

Great Store and Great Staff !! 3/16/2010

Arnold Stove and Fireplace Center has been great. For the few people that had bad experiences it was probably their own fault. I realized that not every single part and piece is going to be found until they actually start doing the job. They worked very hard to keep my price the same as first estimated. They could have "cut corners" and not do the job right, but that's not their style. They do it right and safe.\r \r Having worked in retail I can tell you it can be fustrating when you are the middle man. You try and get everything for your customer to please them. Sometimes it is just not possible. Then you look like the bad guy. Do you really think that's their goal, to look bad and have a bad rep?? Probably not. \r \r As for the owner and his family. They seem like very nice people. From being at the store numerous times I could tell they treat people the way they want to be treated, with respect. All is well that ends well... 1/30/2009

My wife and I initially had a very good experience in selecting the fireplace we wanted installed in our home. \r \r As the we moved into the installation process, we experienced some aggrevation. Due to miscommunication between ourselves and an employee of the store, there were multiple costs in the process that we had been caught offguard by. We were novices in purchasing a fireplace, and neeeded every aspect of the process explained to us in great detail.\r \r When the owner of the store learned of our frustration, he took the time to visit me in person at my office. We discussed the concerns I had, and he addressed them one-by-one.\r \r As a business owner myself, I appreciated the fact that the owner took the time to seek me out. It is obvious to me that he takes great pride in the reputation of his store, and wants to make every effort to ensure customer satisfaction.\r \r After all is said and done, I would recommend Arnold Stove and Fireplace Center. Wood Stove 1/15/2009

I have had my wood stove for 2 yrs from Arnold Stove and I use it all the time. It is great. Great service and the people that installed it were great also. They do not push items on you and they will help you anyway they can. You can call and ask questions on ones that are not theirs and they will answer them. I will go there for all my fireplace needs. more

My Arnold Stove & FP experience 10/22/2008

The only good thing I can say about this establishment is that the store and it's dispalys are nice. I recently had a fairly large job done by them costing roughly $10K. They removed and replaced FP, did stone work, mantles, marble, etc. When I hired them I was told that the job would take 4 or 5 days. From start to finish it was closer to 4 months! My contact there routinely ignored messages, made empty promises, and always blamed their "vendors". As a customer I can understand vendor difficulties, but that is not an excuse to provide poor customer service. "poor" is an understatement. I will never do business with them again, will never recommend them, and will make sure I tell as many as I can about my experience. more

Going above and beyond 4/27/2008

Arnold Stove & Fireplace have gone above and beyond with their customer service. I have been having trouble with a sub contractor finishing off a room in my basement. Arnold Stove has stepped up and helped me solve many of my problems even though they didn't have to. That is what I call great customer service. more

Great service 2/13/2006

This store has some gorgeous fireplaces and woodburning stoves on display but we used them to service our existing insert in our home. They were able to repair the door and save us thousands of dollars (the repairs totaled about $20!) I highly recommend this store to help you with your existing fireplace and insert and I'll certainly use them if and when we need to replace ours! more

The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable here. They really talk to you and find out what works best for you. They seem to enjoy their work, and it shows. I have recommended this shop to everyone I know. more

Great fireplace store 9/8/2005

This store has quite a few displays of fireplaces and set up designs that you can put in your own home. I suppose they are a little on the pricey side of this business, but their customer service is pretty good and the selection is very abundant. You can definitely find something you like here. So if you are looking to replace your existing fireplace or are having problems with the one that you are using, try these guys. They have a good reputation here in the area. more
