Can't believe MSN CityGuide recommend this restaurant! The outdoor tent is gorgeous for a weekend morning, but that?s it. The employees are lack of training, so there?s no service. The food is even worst! The brunch menu is confused to everyone. The choices from Banana Walnut Donut to Fried Chicken Steak are not variety but confusing. If you want to do food business, at least serve some food fresh~ $3.95 for a concentrated orange juice!? $9.50 for a Mojito mix? No wonder there are more people at the cafe across street. I don't usually comment on Citysearch, but I had such a terrible experience at Firefly, I had to create a Citysearch account just to document my experience. The only good thing about this place is the ambiance- the outdoor patio sitting is cute and pleasant. However, everything else was pretty bad. I went along with 4 other friends. The service was the worst I have ever experienced. The restaurant was practically empty. This was during brunch time on Saturday and there were only about 5 tables filled - the rest empty, so being busy wasn't an excuse. The waiter seemed to completely oblivious to our requests. When my friend received her coffee, it was lukewarm, so she asked for a new cup- it took 2 requests to finally get a fresh cup. We asked for re-fills of our coffee, he didn't bring it after the first request- it took 2 more requests to get it. Our food arrived - it was lukewarm. It seemed that the food probably sat in the back for 15 minutes before they brought it out to us. We sent our food back to get it re-heated. We asked for napkins- again the waiter didn't bring it. We asked a 2nd time and it was brought over. We asked for Ketchup-the waiter didn't bring it. After asking for it 2 more times, he finally remembered to bring it. The waiter may have memory loss issues as it took 2 or 3 requests to get things done. What a terrible experience!!!! Pros: Ambiance Cons: Service Terrible, Food Lukewarm, Avoid at all costs! more

i went here for a friends bday party. the atmosphere is good, very romantic, not good for groups though.i was the first one there in my party and the hostess was rude and sarcastic. she made faces and spoke under her breathe very rude!! don't know if she was just cranky or thats just her but still not a good first impression at all!!\r the food was alrite not great but very expensive (i think) and the portions was small. i had the trout and the first couple of bites were good but then it started to taste salty.\r overall its okay but im not sure if id go here again. Pros: good atmosphere, romatic Cons: pricey more

The food was excellent; from the Mint prawn appetizer to the trout entree simply delicious. The atmosphere is so cute and abounds with table-for-two date night potential if only one's table for two weren't right in between two other tables for two. Its a little bit cramped, but the food totally makes up for it. Pros: Food was incredible Cons: A bit cramped and expect to pay some money more

I had the key lime pie another time (maybe more than a year ago) and it was yummy but now its dry and more of a cake? go back to pie, firefly! Also, th hot chocolate was not as good. I'm a huge hot choc fan and this was not the way it was before. Did not try other desserts, maybe they are better/ but I miss the HC which was super. Food is good! I had the pork chop, it was very interesting and quite good, my wife had the trout, and it was under cooked but still good. Wine list was different and very food friendly there was a server or wine stuwerd that helped us out with our wine selection and if we were to be served by him, I think the evening would have been saved! Service is Horrible!!! The male server that we had I think was new but I have been to so many restaurants that I know someone that should be taking care of other peoples evening, and someone who should at most be a server assistant! At the most. \r There was a manager or owner I really don't know what he was, but he was running around trying to help our server get a clue, it never happened. \r \r Over all they need a lot of work in the customer service area.\r \r Sorry, but if you are wanting a relaxed night\r more
