Here we go again, DenverFoodie2, you need a lesson in geography! First off, the reason the food tastes different to you is because you are used to eating "Mexican" food. Jack-n-Grill is not Mexican, it is New Mexican, like from the state of "New Mexico". Mexican food is from the country of "Mexico".
Tacos y Salsa is good if you want "Mexican" But for true home style cooking from the state of "New Mexico", Jack-n-Grill is by far the best. We have won every award on our menu.
I just got a copy of USA Today, (Fri/Sat/Sun, September 11-13) edition, in the "Life Weekend" in the Travel Section, they list the "10 great places for Latino flavor, flair" in the country! Guess what? Jack-n-Grill made the list...."TOP TEN IN THE COUNTRY"!!
Not to mention....Man vs Food, and The Travel Channels Extreme Places to Pig Out!
And you say my food had no real flavor....and mediocre? And trying to pass off as Mexican? Well, I hope you know the difference now. Take it from me, I love to eat and cook, and I too have been to every restaurant known to man. My food is consistent and fresh.
I suggest you give us another try and order one of our huge burgers! You can get fresh green chile and cheese....ummmm.
"The Food Network Magazine's", "50 States, 50 Burgers" just awarded us with having the best burger in Colorado.
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
