Great end to end service - installer arrived right as scheduled, put together a clear estimate and walked me through what I was getting, and the finished installation looks so much better than what was originally put in. Called Home Depot to have our water heater replaced. They referred us to Fast Water Heater Company. Fast Water Heater Company returned the call the same day. They offered to come out the next day, but because we were replacing an old unit that was still working the call was not urgent. We were able to schedule the installation of a new one on a Saturday. The installer, Mark, was very professional. He informed us of all the work that he would be doing. The work ended up being a little higher that originally quoted because our current unit was 26 years old and not up to current code. I would definitely use this company again. more

The guys from Fast were extremely courteous and quickly replaced my leaky old water heater with a new one. They even helped me clean up the mess left by the old one. There were unexpected charges to bring my house up to code that were priced by Home Depot. In the future, I'd buy my water heater from Home Depot and ask Fast to install it on their own. more

Purchased water heater through home Depot, who sent us Fast Water Heater Company. I was EXTREMELY impressed with the service person who arrived. Apparently we needed a lot of upgrades to meet new codes and based on his checklist they all seemed legit. He gave me the option at each step to make the change or not, explaining very clearly my choices. Even with all the upgrades, while the price did go up significantly over the initial quote, the final price was still $800 less than another company that came out to the house a couple days before. The man who installed our unit was very personable, knew his stuff, worked quickly and was very neat, cleaning up as he worked. I was very impressed and quite pleased. I'm not the biggest fan of Home Depot but they sure hit a home run picking these guys to install their water heaters!!! Five Stars all the way! more

I called Fast Water Heater Company to replace a leaking water heater that was still under warranty. The rep on the phone, Ginny, was very helpful and scheduled an appointment for me as soon as possible. The technician, George, took the time to explain issues such as code requirements and answer my questions. He did an excellent job and didn't rush to just get the job done but took the time to get the job done right. This is important - I've dealt with other companies who came out and just was in a rush to get the job done ASAP. The employees at Fast Water Heater from the rep on the phone to the technician provided excellent customer service. I would use the company again and refer them to friends and family. more

Our water heater went out on Thursday evening. We called the water heater installation number on the Home Depot website early Friday morning.The representative from Fast was very helpful and arranged to have a new water heater installed that afternoon. The price was fair and the plumber, Art was very fast and also very friendly. We had good service all the way around more

Our water heater had a slow leak for a couple of days, but on a Friday morning, it was time, and I really didn't want to wait until the weekend. I called these guys around 9:00 AM and they were out at noon.They emailed me the quote, but the guy on the phone said it could be more, depending on how much stuff is not to code. As in our town, an inspection is required (I didn't know this- they informed me), and in order to pass it might require more work. The service guy came out and evaluated it, and sure enough, as it was installed in 1999, there were several items that had to be done, so it added to the cost. He showed me exactly what was not to code, and how much each item would cost. However it was reasonable, he took out the old, installed everything, cleaned up afterward, and it was done by 2:30. I got a 1 year parts and labor, and a 9 year parts only. Overall, I'd say it was a good experience. They were friendly, good service, and while not cheap, I thought it was reasonable more

Fast water heater really knows what they are doing when it comes to water heaters. This is something you don't want to do by yourself for safety and city code compliance. Reasons. Ask for Mac, who is an excellent technician who really knows his stuff, and very customer centric--he was great helping us! more

When we bought our house, we knew it was only a matter of time before we would need a new water heater-- and sure enough, after a year, we did! Fast Water Heater came quickly -- and Art gave us a very detailed bid and took the time to explain everything. Unfortunately for us, the previous owners had not taken care of some of the essential safety features that we would need to fulfill the code for a new install, so the installation was not cheap-- but compared to some other bids that we received -- Art offered us a much better deal. Art provided excellent service and was very efficient and helpful (answering all of my questions and taking the time to make sure that we were familiar with everything we needed to know). In a perfect world, the price could have been a little less, but considering the various things that we needed done -- I feel the service and work was worth it. more

GREAT JOB AND FAST! WE ARRIVED HOME AFTER A MONTH LONG TRIP TO FIND OUR WATER HEATER WAS STARTING TO LEAK. AFTER A FEW OTHER CALLS, A CALL TO THE HOME DEPOT WATER HEATER INSTALLATION NUMBER PUT US IN CONTACT WITH FAST WATER HEATER COMPANY. THEY ASKED A FEW QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT I WANTED AND GAVE ME A QUOTE OVER THE PHONE, WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE COULD BE SOME ADDITIONAL CHARGES TO BRING MY INSTALLATION UP TO CURRENT CODE FOR MY TOWN, WHICH REQUIRES A PERMIT THAT THEY OBTAIN FOR US (AT A SMALL ADDITIONAL CHARGE). THEY SAID THEY COULD HAVE A TECHNICIAN AT MY HOME IN ONE OR TWO HOURS. 45 MINUTES LATER DON WAS AT MY DOOR. HE EXPLAINED WHAT WOULD BE REQUIRED TO BRING US UP TO CURRENT CODE REQUIREMENTS AND WE AGREED ON THE COST. TWO HOURS LATER WE HAD A NEW WATER HEATER AND THE OLD ONE WAS GONE. DON DID A VERY PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION AND PATIENTLY ANSWERED MY MANY QUESTIONS. DON LEFT OUR HOME CLEAN AND TIDY. THE ONLY EVIDENCE HE WAS THERE WAS OUR NEW WATER HEATER. 30 MINUTES AFTER DON LEFT THE COMPANY CALLED TO MAKE SURE I WAS SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK. FAST WATER HEATER COMPANY IS A FIRST CLASS BUSINESS AND TRUE TO THEIR NAME FAST. DON IS AN EXCELLENT INSTALLER. more
