Eyecrafters

On December 12, 2011, at exactly 5:30 p.m. I went to the Eyecrafters store on Pipeline Road in Hurst. To my surprise, the door was locked. There was, however, a clerk behind the desk who motioned to me that they were closed. When I pointed to the sign on the door (6 p.m. closing time), he made the same ""closed"" motion. Highly unprofessional, in my opinion. What if I needed my glasses and my flight was early in the morning? After reading all the negative reviews, I'm actually glad that they closed early. They certainly won't be getting my future business. This is an objective review--either you have certain business hours, or you don't. A good business will often let you in even after shortly closing, but come on, to close 30 minutes early is outrageous! I won't even bother with contacting corporate! I hope they close soon and a nice pizza joint takes over! more

I went into eyecrafters due to the sign posted all frames 39.99. They only had a certain selection of frames for that price. The frames are not brand new. I had received my glasses and the lenses and frames were scratched. Took several times for them to get it correct and I end up spending more money because they said I needed better quality lenses. They dont gaurantee there work and DONT GIVE REFUNDS even when they mess up. Buyer beware dont waste your money on this small business because corporate is also a joke. Go to another store where you will receive good customer service and quality work for your money. I will never go to this place again and would not recommend it to no one. more

Went into Eyecrafters and bought 2 pair of glasses under there coupon sale they honored as it was stated. On coupon it does disclose that add on such as UV and scratch coat not included upgrade were fair price charges. I purchase my 2 pair of glasses eyecrafters serviced them in 1 hour and i was good togo. I would send all my family and friend here they have a nice collection of eyewear and good prices. more

Not a pleasant experience! Charged me for UV and scratch resistant coating on poly lenses which, after much research, I learned comes with all poly lenses. Frames I purchased from them broke at the bridge after 5 months and when I attempted to get them replaced under the warranty I received the incorrect frames and was told ""what I get is what I get"". I was told by Eyecrafters that the frames I received replaced the frames that I originally purchased and that I would have to contact the manfacturer myself if I did not believe what Eyecrafters was telling me or if I wanted to persue the issue further. If this was how I treated my customers I would have none! more

Their advertisements are very deceptive. They are not clear and you end up walking out the door with a much bigger bill than that you anticipated. Cons: they lure you in with a coupon more

I went in with coupons and came out with an $800 bill for 2 pr of glasses. (Buy one; get one free?)Then it took a while to get them since they kept saying the glasses were not passing inspection. My time is limited and when I got them...I have to tilt my head different ways for both pr of glasses. I continued to try to just deal with them. However, over the weekend, my regular glasses got stuck in a seat cushion and need adjusted or replaced. I called today to find out what I could do. I took the opportunity to explain the issues I have had with both pair. Including there are uneven spaces between the lenses and frames. The man I was speaking to became rude. I then mentioned I was reading the reviews and they were almost all negative, It was a very short and nasty conversation when he hung up on me. And I feel comfortable going back in there? I think not! Pros: The optometrist was exceptional. Cons: The current staff has no empathy and are dollar driven. more

During my visit I witnessed people trying to return glasses unsucessfully that they had just purchased and could not see through. Myself and 2 other customers tried to get straight answers to the price of glasses and contacts, only to be told ""it depends"". No one left for less than twice the amount they were quoted. Cons: Dirty Store, Rude Help, Liars more

i love EyeCrafters ! they are great ! i broke my glasses and got a new pair within a week ! they even searched everywhere to provide me with contacts for my prom with little time to provide ! they are great with great sales reps . yal really need to stop hating on eyecrafters because they are better than most places i have been to . i reccomend them . very good business :) Pros: best place to find stylish glasses and comfy contacts :) Cons: NONE ! more

They do not stand behind what they sell and treat their customers poorly, even lying just to make a sale. Stay away! more

Poor service on glasses, unreliable, and doesn't have good salesmenship when it comes to problems with the products they offer. more
