warranty work 12/14/2015

I had my daughters clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing replaced in her 2006 Scion TC in May of 2015. Very satisfied with the info. and work provided. However, in November there was a catastrophic failure of some sort. I figured I was SOL. But much to my surprise Evan's offers a one year warranty on parts and I think labor. I had them show me in person exactly what had happened (as anyone should with a big $$ repair or warranty issue), it ended up being the throw out bearing. They were very straight forward with explanations, and replaced all parts and labor for free! They did me right so I gave the mechanic a nice tip. Very satisfied. Edmund Blackwell more

A/C Repair 12/1/2015

This store always provides first class service, and never pushes unnecessary repairs or services on their customers. However, clean up after repairs could use some attention. Found 3 greasy head/face/handprints on the inside of my windshield, after the dashboard was taken off for the A/C repairs. more

oil change with alternator replacement 11/29/2015

Usually your service is superb. the last service our coolest was so low the engine light came on and we had to purchase and add almost one gallon of 50/50 prestone I surmise the technician removed two of the coolest hoses to remove the alternator and did not properly finish filling and checking the coolent more

Honesty 11/8/2015

I took my car in for servicing at 75,000 miles before a long road trip. I enquired about a possible brake job and tune up. To my amazement, the mechanics checked it out, and their verdict was that the brakes are fine and that my car does not need a tune up for at least another 30,000 miles. For a retired person on a limited income, this kind of advice is much appreciated. They could have easily milked me for $1,000 of unnecessary work but they chose not to. This sends me a signal that they value me more as a long term customer than as a sucker to exploit to make a fast buck. I trust these people at Evans Automotive. more

I own 3 cars, a classic, a sports car and a new daily driver. All are serviced and repaired by Evans. They have never failed to solve the problems and fix any of the issues with these vehicles. They have went as far as hand making parts for my classic that were no longer available. Mark and his staff bend over backwards to resolve you're auto issues in a timely manor and keep you informed though the process. more

Not satisfied 10/14/2015

It took 3 hours. First they say there was nothing wrong after doing their diagnostic. My van stalls out right after I leave there so they tow it back in. Still no answers. 3 hours of my life gone. Come back another day and we will do some more checking. How much spare time do they think I have? Don't know if I will go back. Very much dissatisfied right now. No answers and an afternoon gone. more
