Watch out! Stay away!\r \r Here is the latest stunt by Cheap Fare Guru. It involves the cancelled 787 flights. I bought 2 United tickets on a 787 flight through CheapFare Guru (Eros). When I called United to change the flights, United was unable to do it because the tickets were sold as ""bulk"" to the travel agencies, so the cost of the tickets was not in the United computer system and therefore the agent could change to it to match whatever. So I have to go through the travel agency to facilitate the changes by providing the info to United. The agent told me there should not be any problems and the travel agency should be glad to do it because of the contract they have with United.\r \r I sent an e-mail to CheapFare Guru, requesting an ASAP response. Did not get a reply. So I called. The first time I called and stated my problem, I got cut off after being told to hold. I called again. This time, the person told me there are no canceled flights by ANA. (I'd personally called ANA and was told the flights were canceled from 3/31 until June). He kept arguing that the ANA flights should be fine and no flights were changed. I persisted.\r \r Finally, he asked what flights I wanted to change. He said he would e-mail United for the changes and it would take a week; he couldn't wait to get off the phone. Why would it take a week when he could just call right away. In the meantime, he leaves me anxious, worrying the few remaining seats on the flight I need would be gone.\r \r It is very obvious the consumer protection laws required for travel agencies had been violated in several arenas. more

I cannot give this company any more than 2 starts due to their inability to do any legwork on a refund that was due to us. Also, the CEO of the company does not even have a voice mail they told me and they never return any calls or any messages left. Our flight was cancelled due to nature, the airline only processed one portion of the refund (which Eros Travel gave us) but then when we asked them for the second half they kept telling us they were contacting their contact. That went on for 4 months. We played by the rules for 4 months until we got someone to finally tell us that they were contacting a parent agency called Picasso Travel...which were no help either. Eros Travel was unable to reach anyone at the airline during the entire 7 months we were waiting for the refund. That is completely inadequate on their part. I had to do the legwork, calling all sorts of airline numbers, even reaching the refund department in the UK for the airline. Going through the hurdles because the airline said my agency (Eros Travel) was supposed to contact them, not me. In the end we FINALLY got our refund. So, good prices, and good at giving refund when airlines process them correctly (hence 2 stars), but TERRIBLE at doing any legwork when things get a little complicated, and they never return any calls. more

I searched the flights and the dates and the prices where really cheap! i wanted the prices to be more cheaper so i called them up to make sure if this is true or not because i have been checking on all websites and i am unable to find a low airfare except this one. I called them up and mike picked up he understood what i was going through and spent the time on me so i can get a cheaper price or the the same cheap price that they had. mike and adam spent their time and got me the cheapest tickets they can possible get me. This site is the best site i have ever been too! I wanted to go to India from Atlanta. My mom lives in India with my other family members and she became ill i guess because it is kind of cold their and people tend to get sick in the cold weather and she is 65 years old. I wanted to go meet her immediately because i didn't want anything to happen to her and if something did i wanted to be their. I searched all flights and airlines but the prices were coming to about $1700 which is too much for my budget. i searched and searched all airline websites and also some other travel agent websites but the prices were similar. I some how landed on eros tours and travel website airtkt and searched my flights so i can atleast see what they have to offer. I saw a flight for $1150 from American Airlines and i called them up to make sure if it is the actual price. I called them up and they said if you see it book it immediately because it might not be their after awhile someone else my take up the seats so i booked it and it was great! i saved about $400-500 or more. I would like to thank this company for understanding my situation they were very nice and patient with me. Thank YOU! more

I was searching online for a long time to find cheap tickets for international travel. I wanted to go to India actually. New Delhi would be the city and I searched and searched many websites and also looked up fares online with airlines, but at the end of the day I was unable to afford any of the fares I saw online. I think I spent about half a day searching for the cheap tickets that is affordable to my budget and not have to spend too much time at the airport and all. I searched more thinking why should I give up and I stumbled upon Airtkt. The name interested me because I am Indian and it sounds amazing also. I put in my destination and all the information time, date, etc. And searched my flights the flights were really cheap! About $1000. I guess God just bestowed his love upon me or something that I found this cheap ticket. Then for a second I was wandering if something is fishy because nobody else is selling the same destination ticket for a really low airfare and I called them up. I was talking to some representative and told me that everything is secure and if you see the fare book it because I might not see it again and I booked it! I saved so much money! Its really cool and I would like to THANK YOU! I just wanted to tell my story to people so you don’t have to waste your time looking at other sites rather you can just go to this site and book your tickets! I had never used this website befor and had never hear of it until I put cheap flights to atlant to delhi on google. This site popped up and i check it out. I also called them to see if anything is fishy u know because the prices where very low for what i have seen. And i always travel to india but never saw low prices like what they sell. It was amazing that they have low fares to india and anywhere in india it was amazing! If i found this site earlier i would of saved a lot of money! From now on will use this site and tell my family memebers and my friends to use this site because of its cheapfares that they sell called Guru web special really nice name. Bought an international return ticket for my mother but later on found that it had more than 22 hours of stopover. As per their policy (weird as it may sound) customer has to confirm via email before a ticket can be issued. Called the customer service to cancel and re issue new one with less stopover (Had not replied with the confirmation email yet). But the customer service guy wants the confirmation email before discussing the issues and states that the cancellation charges are 250$ and he can do me a favor by charging only 90$ while all he had to do was issue a new ticket as I had not sent the acceptance email yet. Forced me to send the acceptance email as otherwise I would have to pay the cancellation charges to airline. (I am sure they have not yet bought the ticket from airline yet). And the most frustrating part comes now: The disclosure that they send with the confirmation email states that we loose all rights to contest and not even the credit card company can do anything as we have accepted the disclosure. Cheats/Fraudulent company. No wonder has an F rating with BBB Will try and sort with Airline or look what American Express has to say with this ""Disclosure"" policy of theirs. more

I had to leave to atlanta at a last minute flight because of someones death in the family. So I quickly rushed to the airport for the next flight and when i reached the airport the ticket counter. The price was for $500! Even though i was in a rush that is a lot of money to travel 2-3 hours. I used my laptop to seach cheap flights to Atlanta and this website Airtkt popped up which I had never used before. I checked into their website and the same fare was for $250. I was surprised and i thought it might unreal. I booked the flight and they called me after couple of mins and took care of everything. The next thing i know is that I saved $250! on my ticket where as all the other passangers probably paid around $500. Thank You for saving me a lot of money! more

I was actually looking to go last minute and I was unable to find any low fares. Most of the fares where coming around for $600! which i cant afford. Luckily i found this site some how idk what keyword i put in or not. But i found this website. And the same ticket was for $300!! i could not believe that there was a $300 difference. CheapFareGuru, AirTkt are part of Eros Tours & Travel Inc. I booked a ticket from DC to Atlanta and the charge was $388 through AirTkt which subsequently was serviced by CheapFareGuru. An hour later, the agency called me and told me that the AirTran airline is modifying the ticket price and will now cost $489 ($450 for the ticket and the rest is agency fee). I believe them and bought the ticket. When I checked in at the airline, the receipt that AirTran charge CheapFareGuru is only $339.40. CheapFareGuru actually lied to me about AirTran's price change. When I called them to complain, the agent does not care, and I told her that I will file a complain with BBB and AirTran, etc. All she said is go ahead if you have nothing else better to do. According to her, no matter where I complain, it will not matter, I am not going to get the difference in price back. more
