IM COPYING AND PASTING THE REPORT SENT TO MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY!!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!\r
\r
On March 2011-\r
I ordered an engine 4.2L with 38,558 miles. I was told I would receive the engine in 7-10 business days. I was also told I would receive the carfax as soon as the purchase was made, but that didn’t happen. Finally received the engine on March 25. When the engine was received, I still had not received the carfax. I had a licensed mechanic check the engine. He stated he could guaranteed the engine did not have the miles reported & engine was in horrible condition. There was no (VIN) on the engine. That same day I contacted EATW and spoke with Billy. I attempted to voice my concern about the engine received and the carfax not received yet. Billy refused to speak with me regarding any matters, he started yelling at me over the phone. He then hung up on me. I attempted calling again and was unable to get any words out because Billy kept screaming. I then informed him that if I could not resolve anything with him and the company I would have to open a dispute with my credit card company, at that point Billy said that if I put in a dispute his company would charge me with theft for keeping the engine and having my credit card company take the money from EATW, then he disconnected the call.\r
\r
I attempted to call again on and spoke with Billy He refused to give me any information on the engine. He stated that I had stolen from his company; he guaranteed the carfax would never be provided, and I would never get any questions answered about the engine. I then called Citi Bank to ask if they had taken the funds from EATW I was told the funds had not been taken from EATW because the investigation was not conducted yet. So Billy at EATW was using false allegations to not provide me information on the engine purchased. \r
\r
I received an email from EATW on advising me to contact Andy, the supposed supervisor to get the engine carfax. I was promised I would get it Tuesday 03/29/11. I kept emailing Mr. Andy and emphasizing that I could not install an engine that I had not ran the carfax on. I did not receive a carfax until Friday April 1, st. the carfax received did not match the engine bought. The engine I bought was stated to me that it had 38,558 miles; the carfax I received stated the engine had 25,094 miles. This confirms the fraud and false advertisement. After sending EATW an email regarding the carfax received I got a phone call from the supposed supervisor Andy cursing me out and yelling at me. Saying that if I dare to dispute the charges with any company, they would charge me with theft. He also stated that if I dare dispute any charges or attempt to return the engine, he would make sure I was charged a 25%resotcking fee, along with $500 shipping fees and theft. He insulted me and tried to belittle me. At that he was screaming so loud that I disconnected the call and sent him an email, requesting that any further communication be done thru writing since I could no longer put up with their insults and disrespects. \r
\r
Something that I find very disturbing is that I purchased the engine advertised on their website March 1st, 2011. The engine for a 2002 F150 with 38,558 miles, and to this day, they are still advertising the SAME ENGINE THAT I SUPPOSEDLY BOUGHT! I believe they are a crook company and doing fraud to lots of customers.\r
\r
In addition, I saw the report from the Better Business Bureau and they have a grade F for various reasons. Apparently I am not the only customer this has happened to. \r
