Top notch 7/31/2015

On a recent trip to New York this summer where I spent about 6 weeks traveling from New York to New Jersey, I had occasion to rent a vehicle from Empire Rent-A-Car based on my son's recommendation as he had used this company a few weeks prior during a short visit to the city. Everything he said about the company was absolutely correct: top notch service, incredibly helpful and courteous staff, fine vehicle and best of all, extremely reasonable prices. When there was a problem with the original vehicle I rented (which had only 5,000+miles on it), after a quick check-up, (I think the problem was with one of the warning lights malfunctioning) rather than have me waste valuable vacation time waiting I received another vehicle within 15 minutes. I certainly will be using them again on my next visit in the Fall. Thanks again, Evan, Patty and the gang! Joe more

My first time renting with Empire since day one service was excellent Linda help me with my reservation. When I went to pick up the van Rob was outstanding explaining every single detail. Thanks to their extraordinary service it was the frosting on the cake helping my family and friends with a pleasant family day out. Empire Rent A Car is very customer friendly and I've known them for a few years. They are very flexible, will wait if i am late and any small request we make they are able to accommodate us they go out of their way to cater to us. We never incurred extra costs, they maintain their cars well. They would encourage us to call if anything goes wrong; one time the music system was not working and when I returned I told the management and they fixed it, the next time it worked very well. We think very highly of them! Compared to other services they are the best. more

Quality Customer Service 7/8/2015

I rented a vehicle for the first time last month, thru the 1800 #. I picked up the vehicle at the Pennsylvania Avenue Location, everything went smooth for me. The vehicle performed well, it was clean had a few scratches; nothing to be alarmed about. I must commend PATTY on being polite, professional, patient and attentive to my renting needs. I would defenitely recommend Empire Rent A Car. Empire Rent A Car should be honored to have PATTY as an employee, your kindness was Appreciated. Thank you more

Great customer service. 7/1/2015

I used Empire Rent A Car once for work. They had great communication and were very quick, which is necessary for my job. The best part of the experience was that the woman who helped me was very detail oriented. Over the phone she told me what to expect, what to be prepared with, and had answers for all of my questions. When she made plans to contact me, an email would be in my inbox very quickly. They had a fast response time, and fast results. Their prices were a little bit higher than their competitors; but I chose them because they accept debit cards and all of the other companies I considered only accepted credit. more

Excellent service 6/26/2015

I rented from Empire Rent A Car maybe five or six times. It's always been unlimited miles. You don't have to pay over-mileage. I never had problems with tire blowouts or auto problems. The car is ready when I go there and I don't have to wait. I never have a problem. My only suggestions is that they should have a free one day or points for customers who rent there a lot. Everything is good and I will keep using them. more

Empire Rent a Car saved the day for me and my daughters. 6/24/2015

Empire Rent a Car came through in the "clutch" for me when I needed a 16 passenger van for a last minute trip. The staff was very consumer friendly and the transaction service was smooth and time efficient. The van was immaculate and all the van's details was explained to me by the staff. I was totally satisfied and already have recommended the location to friends and business associates. Also special thanks to Gloria and Patty for their extra accommodating "Fathers Day" service as they deserve a personal applause for starting me off on a special day. Thank you all. more

This is my second time renting a vehicle from Empire, the staff are wonderful Gloria and Linda are excellent courtious and proffessional, the car was a brand new 2015 Camry both times I am very impressed the manager Eon gave me a ride home. Will reccomend Empire to anybody who wishes to rent a car more

My rental needs for life 5/27/2015

For a smaller rental company , They were very patient with me . I changed my reservation several times to try to accomodate my trip . They walked with me each time and didn't crack a frown ... I rented a 7 by 16 trailer ... They made sure I was good from reservation to return !!! more

Took care of me in a pinch! 5/18/2015

Called Empire the last minute after getting lied to by Enterprise. I spoke with a very helpful, friendly and professional customer service person named Linda. She set me up with a small cargo van - exactly what I needed and for a MUCH LOWER PRICE than Enterprise. The vehicle was clean, new and in excellent mechanical shape. Linda helped in every way possible to insure I could rent the vehicle and return it in the most efficient, convenient way. Empire's hours of operation are also much more customer friendly than any other car rental place in the area. Goodbye Enterprise. Hello Empire. more
