On a recent trip to New York this summer where I spent about 6 weeks traveling from New York to New Jersey, I had occasion to rent a vehicle from Empire Rent-A-Car based on my son's recommendation as he had used this company a few weeks prior during a short visit to the city.
Everything he said about the company was absolutely correct: top notch service, incredibly helpful and courteous staff, fine vehicle and best of all, extremely reasonable prices. When there was a problem with the original vehicle I rented (which had only 5,000+miles on it), after a quick check-up, (I think the problem was with one of the warning lights malfunctioning) rather than have me waste valuable vacation time waiting I received another vehicle within 15 minutes.
I certainly will be using them again on my next visit in the Fall.
