Keep customer's best interest in mind 5/23/2011

I noticed that the tread on my front tires was wearing out, and thought that I would have to buy some new ones so I took my jeep in to this shop. I talked to one of the managers there about tires and prices, and then he had a look at my tires. He was incredibly helpful because he suggested instead to just switch the front wheels with the back so that the tread could last longer.He saved me a lot of money, and I will definitely come back when I do need to replace my tires or get an oil change. more

Use their coupons 5/23/2011

I get my oil change at this shop all the time, they even know me by name. They are always polite and very quick. I also like the fact that they offer online coupons. A lot of people don't like using coupons, but they sure do go a long way. I highly recommend this shop, and the usage of coupons so kill two birds with one stone and try this shop out while using their online coupons. Shelly and the guys at the shop will treat you right :) more

Good in a hurry 5/23/2011

I was driving down Market, when I ran over some 2x4's that had fallen off a truck in front of me that had nails on them! I blew out my front tires, usually I take my car to a shop by my house but I needed some tires ASAP. I saw this shop and decided to give them a try. They were great, they changed out my punctured tires and gave me a great price on the new ones. I think I might just have to consider changing body shop, thanks fellas. more

I've been taking my vehicles to Elliott Tire in Ballard for 7 years and have not be disappointed. Even when the local Mitsubish dealer left, Ben and his staff kept after other dealers to get the parts for my Montero. When my Montero was totalled on Mother's Day this year, Ben offered me one of their loaner cars even though they weren't currently working on my car and because of the meticulous records they keep, and their knowledge, my insurance company settled for far above Blue Book. I recommend Elliott Tire in Ballard to all my friends, no matter the type of vehicle. more

Stands out among the best 4/29/2011

I have been a customer for many, many years. They are experienced, fair and extremely efficient at getting you out the door without the bull that you usually encounter at most other places. In an age where ""customer service"" has virtually disappeared, Elliot Tire really stands out as among the best. more

Frienfly and prompt 4/29/2011

I was lucky enough to have a screw puncture one of my brand new tires, causing a slow leak. They plugged the hole for 17 bucks, and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Staff was friendly enough and prompt. more

Yes, as good as it gets. I used fix a flat on a tire, which I now know you should only do in an absolute emergency. Most places if they responded at all told me I could not get it repaired or that the cost would be so high I should get a new tire. Elliot took care of it in 20 minutes without an appointment for a great price. more

Never had a bad experience 4/27/2011

It saddens me to read so many negative reviews of Elliott tire. I have been a customer for 30 years and have never had a bad experience. I never felt that I had been over charged or had unnecessary work done. In fact, I have had free work on numerous occasions. The staff has always been courteous and helpful and willing to work with my schedule. I know it is not easy to find an auto repair place that you can trust. I am now having to leave Seattle and will have to find a new repair place. I hope I am lucky enough to find another that will be as reliable as I have found Elliott Tire to be. more

Good group of people 4/27/2011

Good group of people. They took care of me and my car. Had an older car that I had done nothing to and they made it run like a new car. Makes me happy I didn't get a new one because I really liked my old car. They even took the time to explain what I didn't know and were even willing to show me. Thank you Ballard crew. more

We have been taking our two cars here for many years and have never had anything but great service. They keep our cars in good running condition and have always explained what repairs were needed and why. They have always been friendly and helpful more

I appreciate your thoughtfulness 4/27/2011

I left my car for the day and was expecting three tires to be replaced on my AWD car. When I returned, I found FOUR tires replaced. Ugh, time for war! Thankfully, I was told that the Manager (Ben?) called GoodYear and was able to get the fourth tire replaced for FREE since it's better for an AWD car to have equally worn (or new) tires. Thanks Elliott, I appreciate your thoughtfulness and I won't hesitate to pay you a visit the next time I need some tires. more
