The company I work for recently had an event here. Wow, is all I can really say, it was beautiful and the food was delicious.

I had my wedding there back in November of 2010. My fiance and I at the time wanted to find a fresh, new and elegant place, and found that in Elite Palace; however, looks can be d...

This space is phenomenal! 6/24/2011

This space is phenomenal! We had our reception here and Its a modern catering facility equipped with all of today's amenities. This place has everything to ensure comfort for you and your guests. You can certainly tell they pride themselves on their food and excellent service, and they have taken the extra step in creating a menu, which is fabulous and is sure to entice anyone! They really know how to go above and beyond! Thanks for a memorable night! more

NICE EXPERIENCE AND UNIQUE PLACE 6/23/2011

BRAND NEW BUILDING, VERY IMPRESSIVE AS YOU DRIVE UP TO IT. OUTSTANDING DECOR AS WELL AS SOUND AND LIGHTING EFFECTS. THE WAITERS WERE ATTENTIVE AND THE FOOD WAS GOOD. more

Uncomfortable feeling & shady 6/13/2011

I was there recently for a wedding. First off, valet was a nightmare. It took 30 mins just to get in with cars waiting on the road 3 lanes deep. In fact later that nite, the valet guy was so rude he picked a fight with an elderly man who was waiting almost 20 mins for his car. more

Looks are deceiving 6/10/2011

Most of the negative reviews are right on. I will say some good things first. I love the lights on the outside. Looks very nice. And I also like the decor on the inside. I saw some A/V use and pyro works. Well done. Where they are poor is everywhere else which is the important stuff. more

GOOD FIND IN QUEENS 6/7/2011

I usualy dont write reviews but I had to say something here. I had my sons Christening at Elite Palace in may. more

DISASTER IN THE MAKING!!!!!!!!!!! 6/5/2011

What a horror!!! Be afraid, be very afraid. It almost seems impossible to believe this place hasn't been shut down. It is sooooo obvious that thIs place is run by shady characters. All you have to do is meet Igor. Unless your planning a HUGE event, you will be at their mercy. They wait until the date of your event draws near and then hit you with charges not expected. And if you don't like it, oh well! As for the place itself, well it's new so how bad can it be?!?! Food and drinks get an F. Don't be mislead by the menu offerings, everything tastes the same. The bartenders were rude and one guy didn't even know how to make a rum and coke. Maybe the language barrier played a role. As for dinner, the food was terrible and ""tossed"" in front of you by the staff. No steak knives available for the prime rib, butter knives only. As the end of the night draws near, you WILL leave as the tables are literally taken apart at the stroke of midnight. By the way, don't think of complaining as there are ""goons"" everywhere just to keep the peace. Visit this place when an event takes place and look behind the front desk to get a taste of what you're in for. People, we're in 2011 and we live in NY. Don't make the mistake that we made and fall pray to the antics of a bunch of foreigners that think that they can get away with this kind of behavior and abuse on what should be the MOST special day in the lives of a newly married couple. You will look back on your wedding day and regret having chosen this venue as the place to hold your event, just like we have. Thanks for reading and consider this fair warning!!!!!! more

Be very afraid! 5/17/2011

Dont listen to all the BS reviews. This place is a disaster. Was there for a wedding recently and oh man was it bad. Place looks nice but it ends there. It is located in the GHETTO of queens. You dont want to expose your family to this. DO NOT valet your cars. People were being robbed and no one cared. So much for trusting someone with your car. Items missing from cars like pocket books, cameras, small amounts of money, glasses..etc. Real GHETTO and low class stuff. So you might want to park on the street. Dont forget to bring your Kevlar and Glock. Its rough out there at night. The food was nasty. Had the prime rib. Nothing prime about it. Half raw and bloody filled with uneatable fat. They did however have a couple of bouncers by the front. Couple of Russian juice heads put t here in case anything should happen. I felt very safe :). Go there at your own risk. more

Thank You for Making our Wedding Unforgettable 11/28/2010

I have to say...over the past year my fiancee, and my family, and I were under an immense amount of stress because of the reviews posted on this website. In truth, we had the night of our lives at Elite Palace. Igor Tsan catered to our every need and was truly concerned with my wife's happiness. Now I won't say that there were not any bumps in the road, however, with any venue there will be bumps and it's up to the bride and groom to plan around them and hedge against them. The following was our experience with Elite, their recommendations, and their vendors. 1. Choice of Ballroom: Florintine ballroom (downstairs - commonly only used for ceremony). We used this ballroom for both our ceremony and reception. It is of course a matter of taste, but we loved it so much. It is much less ostentatious than the room upstairs (in our opinion), and we were really going for a less bold look. It is exquisite - silver and clean and beautiful. It comfortably fits a wedding of up to 150 people (plus band), using 12 -person tables. There is a perfect amount of space to keep the dance floor full, but not crowded. We had our ceremony first, then our cocktail hour, then went back into the ballroom for the reception. The cocktail hour in the lobby was beautifully set up and went off without a hitch. We had one bar with two bartenders and it was great. The food was amazing. We added the Viennese dessert table and it was placed in the lobby at the end of the night which was a great idea. We were able to set up a beautiful lighting scheme downstairs in which the candlelight overshadowed any lights in the ballroom and not the other way around. Bathrooms were clean, the bridal suite was impeccable and so beautiful and the wait staff was attentive to all of our needs. Now, all this certainly comes with a caveat: Elite is up and coming, which essentially means that if you want something (or, more importantly, do not want something) you must make it crystal clear to the banquet manager (as we did with Igor). Brides and grooms must remember that venues like this do a wedding every weekend and are typically used to huge weddings that are similar to one another; therefore, if you are looking for something a bit more toned down (as we were), it takes a lot of conversing, explaining, and, most importantly, a very detailed contract hammered out as early as possible (ie types of alcohol, food, attire, extras, lighting, dos and don'ts). Additionally, with this ballroom, we were able to have an amazing wedding downstairs even while there was an exceptionally large wedding going on upstairs and no one even noticed it. Further, this illustrates our point made above: we discussed this at length with Igor because we were concerned about it; as a result, everything was incredibly smooth and there was no overlap between the weddings. In fact one of our concerns was that it would be awkward and tacky have the bride from the other wedding walk through ours (the bride upstairs had the groom suite). Igor was so professional about this and mitigated any contact with our wedding that no one even noticed or cared - including us. Comparison: By way of comparison, we have been to half a dozen weddings in the past 6 months ranging from the Pierre in Manhattan and the Trump National Golf Course in Westchester, and though we may be biased, we believe that Elite and all of our vendors not only measured up but made our wedding day just, if not more, memorable and elegant. more

THANK YOU ELITE PALACE. 11/18/2010

Was nice and had fune!!!!!!!!!! 10/4/2010

My wedding at the Elite Palace was phenomenal! First time that I stepped into that building I gat blinded by the beauty of it, and understood that this was the place that I would most definitely have the wedding of my dreams. The food was grate and services as well. Staff, was very friendly and professional. I?ve been to many weddings and sow a lot of catering holes but none of those where as exclusive as Elite Palace. I love, love and love this place!!!!!!!!!! more

Not all that in service !!! 9/28/2010

1. When we (Bride, Groom & bridal party) got to the bridal suite, there was no food for anyone in the bridal party. 2. With not enough food there were no glasses for the bridal suite. So the money we paid did not even feed anyone in the bridal suite. 3. Salad was supposed to be preset on the table and it was not. We the bride & groom did not get any, but got entree 4. Mr. Enzo DiGraci promised 4 bars for the reception we only had 2, 5. The tables were supposed to be round tables for my center pieces to look better but I got oval tables instead.6. I was promised wait staff to serve drinks at the table, DID NOT GET THAT AT ALL7. Bar ran out of Top shelf liquor at 12 midnight and we paid $3,500 extra for 1 hour and with bars to be fully stocked and was not. ** NOTE when we booked the event we said to have ample amount of liquor because our families and friends are good for partying 8. Wait staff and bartenders are very rude and uneducated. I know this may be a job for them but this is my profession. 9. Not enough food for the cocktail hour and glasses and serving silverware 10. Some of the guest?s food was very cold and not even cooked properly for dinner11. Salmon needed to be more flavorful. 12. I was also promised my event would only be the ONLY event at that time but was there was also another event going on. 13. Red carpet was taken away by a few raindrops which is unacceptable. 14. The air conditioner was turn off after we walked in. (my self who did not even dance that much was sweating in my wedding dresses) 15. Dessert was supposed to be brought out after we had thrown the bouquet and garter. 16. When we spoke to Enzo about rehearsal from my bridal party he told me the Tuesday before my wedding was available. To get there that Tuesday that there are 2 events happening. My bridal party made arrangements to leave work and other daily responsible for my wedding to be screwed over no alternated rehearsal. 17. The receptionist is very rude and did want to give your name and only gave your first name. 18. There was a photographer taking picture of my family and charging them without my permission. The 2 issues with the sound engineer is that the monitor was not set in timely manner only after Andrew spoke to Mr. Moses Sandel he then fixed the problem. Second, issue was that 2 of 4 bass bottoms were hooked up to play, after a phone conversation with him. After Andrew spoke to Moses before we walked in it still was not hooked up. more

that was fun! 9/22/2010

I've been there a few weeks ago at my close friend's wedding. Was gooooood! Open bar, plenty of food, cool design of the whole place. I didn't expect to see such a fabulous restaurant in Queens. It looks more like City plac . If you planning to have something there, make sure to call a taxi in advance, there are not a lot of taxis outside when you done parting. They have two floors, I really liked the lower one. Pros: variety of food, the place itself Cons: Taxi more

Place is gorgeous, but that's it 9/20/2010

I was going to book my wedding there, after hearing great things about it. The place is beautiful, but it stops there. The staff and ONE of the event coordinators were so rude and disrespectful. The food is not that great and I get better service at McDonalds. My experience wasn't great at all. Red carpet and all the other services are great. If you want a nice place and don't care about customer satisfaction or food, this place would be good. If you like quality, then you would do what I did....RUN! more

Would go again 9/16/2010

We experienced sophisticated elegance. The food was sumptuous, and the professional staff was committed to making our reception an unforgettable day that reflected our unique style. more
