My husband and I were moving from Utah, and a family friend suggested Elika Associates. I looked them up online and found their NYC Neighborhood Guide on their website. I was overjoyed to see the details in the guide about all the neighborhoods. It had lists of all nearby schools, grocery stores, banks, pharmacies etc. I was able to select property, and see their dates they were built in, closest subway stations and some pictures. I was able to narrow down my choices to half within few hours. I was then able to tell Mr. Elika exactly where I wanted to buy, and he provided with multiple options that we could choose from. We flew to NYC, and looked at all of our options. We settled our mind on one, and finalized the paper work. Mr. Elika's vast knowledge of the real estate market in NYC helped us get the perfect house for us in the Soho area. Buying some real estate in a crowded area like NYC is a tough challenge. You can do it yourself but I truly believe you should hire a specialist whenever you can because you avoid making bad deals and ending up crying like I’ve seen so many people do.
