This is not a run of the mill jewelers. The jeweler, Anne, custom makes rings for people, especially committment rings, which can be in three different languages, and you design. Same sex couples can be very comfortable going there at least we were and so were our friends we are a transgender couple. My partner and I and good friends all got our committment rings there and were very happy with them. Yes, the jeweler is a bit quirky, you may set a date with her, but she doesn't like to guarrantee the date because she wants to do a good job and that's how she is. If you have a ceremony coming up it's plan for about 5 weeks at least from the time you go in select, decide on designs, approve the design (which she sent to us by fax). And let her know the date of your ceremony so you can work that out! We got white gold because it will last longer than plain silver and I didn't want gold. We had Hebrew and English inscribed. They are gorgouse. If you're looking for something custom made not a run of the mill things by a big conglomerate, but by an artist I recommend Edelweiss, just remember you're dealing with an artist who doesn't want to be disrespected and pushed around. I was a bit nervous at first about the whole process but it all turned out fine, and she delivered on the date we discussed even though she said she couldn't guarrantee that exact date cause she wanted to make sure it was nice for us. We didn't have a committment ceremony date for them to be made by, but she was nice enough to have them down by Passover which we had hoped for. The other jewelry is a small collection of estate jewelry, simple but nice. The website is insufficient. You really have to and talk to her and look.
