I had a huge tree that needed to be taken down. The crew that arrived did an excellant job and if the wood hadn't been stacked nearby you would not have know that they had taken a tree(approximately 140'tall) down. Clean up was excellent. The whole experience was great. more

Paid top dollar for wind sail; when they were finished and gone, I noticed many dead branches remaining. I didn't feel that the wind sail job was taken high enough. They ran out of room taking away the brances so my trash can was filled up and a total mess was left at the roadside. Very little to no cleanup was done. more

We hired Eastside Tree Works to cut down a pine tree from our front yard and have the stump ground down as well. We were told the job would take 2-3 days to be completed. That was over a week ago, and the stump is still here. They have repeatedly failed to return our phone calls and have missed their quoted timeframes for every step of this job. I suppose they would be fine to work with if you don't care when/if your job ever gets completed, but I am very unimpressed. RESPONSE FROM Eastside Tree Works: During this time, our stump grinding was outsourced to a sub contractor. Even though we told all customers during this time, that the wood haul and grinding could come as much as 2 weeks after the removal, apparently this was not adequate for this customer. We did grind this stump shortly after this review, and have since purchased our own grinders to prevent these schedule related issues from occurring again. We do feel this is a particularly harsh review, considering the outstanding deal given to this customer to begin with - as well as the fact that we performed a perfect removal, a thorough cleanup, and eventual stump grinding. We apologize that this took longer than expected or quoted, but feel it is not an accurate representation of the QUALITY of service we provide. more

I was very impressed with the service I received with our recent wind storm. I had contacted a couple of tree service companies and was told, I'd have to wait a week to have help with a tree that was on the brink of falling! The crew showed up at 8:00 sharp, removed 2 trees, deadwooded and pruned 6 others, all in one day. They worked on a slope in tight quarters without damaging existing landscaping. They also left my yard and driveway cleaner than it was before they started. more

They were price-competitive, professional and highly skilled for such a dangerous job. They helped in identifying hazadous trees on our property. A number of trees were likely to fall on a fence or even the house, and each was carefully and safely cut down with precision and skill. I will now not be so anxious during the windy winter storms. more

It was a difficult decision for us to remove a large Maple and a very tall Fir from our yard. After talking with Matt, we felt better about our decision and chose ETW to do the job. The crew was well coordinated, always on time and thorough in their work and clean up. The foreman, Steve, was communicative throughout the whole process and kept us up to date on their progress. The removal of the trees, especially the Fir, was very impressive and they took great measures to be sure the crew and house were safe. Steve went above and beyond his responsibilities and insisted on repairing a crack that occurred in our patio that we might have otherwise overlooked. We are thankful for the quality work. The quote did not deviate in final costs and we would call them again. more

Eastside Tree Works did an excellent job on a large tree removal and major pruning. I decided to use them after I saw their truck and spoke to Steve, the on-site manager. I was impressed with Steve's demeanor and asked for a quote. I though the quote that they gave me was reasonable. The employees were polite, able, and artistic. They also cleaned up well afterward. I would recommend Eastside Tree Works. They were very responsive to my questions and they were timely in what they said they would do and when. more

I was extremely happy with Eastside Tree Works. They did a major pruning that included a lot of different kinds of trees -- conifers, deciduous trees, Japanese maples and more. They pruned up high and down low and also did tree removal. I interviewed them before deciding to use them. Matt came out to my property and we talked about what needed to be done. The previous pruner/arborist that I used retired so I was looking for a new person. I had talked to two other people so I kind of knew what to expect in terms of how long it should take and what it would cost. I also have lived in this house for 25 years, so I have done this before. Eastside Tree Works came when they said they would and the people they sent were extremely careful and well-trained. They were sensitive about not ruining my trees and did not butcher them. I would definitely recommend them. They were very customer-focused and wanted to make me happy. They made sure that they did everything I wanted and, if there was anything extra that I needed done, they did that, too. Jan Leaming more
