Service for air conditioner 8/6/2019

The service technician validated electrical outages had done no damage and provided extremely useful information on the expected life span of my furnace and air conditioning units which were both older than I knew. Carl Jr by name was mercifully polite, funny, articulate and local so knew the history of past providers. more

Repair of an old AC system 7/23/2019

We are tearing down our house at the end of summer and at the start of summer, the AC went. Carl took a look at our old system and came up with a creative way to repair it that was not expensive. When he arrived, he got the work done quickly and was very pleasant to work with. Thank you! more

Repai freeze up in a single family home. 5/26/2019

I am not one that generally gives out very high grades. In this case it is warranted. I could not ask for better, be it the workers, office staff etc. This is the first time using this vendor who came highly recommended by my daughter who has used them a few times very successfully. You are a great company. Keep up the good work. more

Building 36 thermostat 2/23/2019

We were extremely satisfied with the Tech (Ken S) that installed our Building 36 thermostats. He was very knowledgeable about the product. He was also very patient to explain the system to us. As we always do, we will recommend E F Winslow to others . The Building 36 system was recommended by your heating Tech (Carl) during our fall service visit. Replacement 2 1/2 ton bryant ac 10/10/2018

I have been a customer with E. F. Winslow for approximately 20 years, recently, my 2 1/2 ton Bryant A c had an R 2 2 Freon leak and during inspection it was decided that the unit was too costly to repair . I asked for Mike Cary to stop over and give me a written proposal for replacement for another High Efficiency (16 seer or greater) unit. Sad to say , Mike Cary quote was $2100.00 dollars higher than the two other quotes I received for the same exact model number. The new Bryant A C was installed during the hot summer with relative ease and down time. I am extremely satisfied with the contractor installation. Sad to say, you lost a good customer do to your extremely high prices. Mario Colagiovanni more

Andrea and generator 10/10/2018

Every time I need help with something Andrea is the only person I trust to understand my problem and is quick to solve it. As far as service experience I am disappointed with the person who does generator work. Came to service my unit , never ran the unit to see if it was running ok. I complained to the company and ask that someone explain how maintenance can be performed without turning on the unit. That was over a month ago and still no call. Look else where if you need service on your generator. The five stars are for Andrea and not the generator technicians. more

Great service and a pleasure to work with 10/9/2018

Brian B installed a new water heater for me. He was personable, professional, and very patient while I fussed over how to get my dog out of his way. The town inspector said the work looked great. Overall, he makes Winslow look good. more
