Dr. Brokstein is an amazing chiropractor!!! At first, I was hesitant because I had never seen chiropractor before. My complaint was a pinched nerve in my arm. Upon my visit I was greeted immediately by the doctor & his staff. I waited no more than 10 min. before heading to the check up rm. He was friendly, approachable, energetic & knowledgeable. After a couple of visits my pain went away. Dr. Brokstein taught me a few simple stretching exercises that helped managed my issues. I convinced my husband to visit Dr.Bokstein for his complaints & he too is a believer. I highly recommend him to anyone! more

Great chiropractor 2/18/2015

After a 4 hour, turbulent flight my low back was very sore. I looked around the internet and found Dr. Brokstein. He got me in right away. After an exam, he was able to determine what was going on and what to do about it. The chiropractic treatment felt good and I was able to enjoy the rest of my trip. Thanks again Dr. Brokstein more

Thanks For the Great Care! 2/18/2015

After traveling to New Jersey for a friend's wedding, my back was killing me from carrying so much luggage (my wife tends to over pack). I saw all the great reviews The Hometown Family Wellness Center has accumulated and called for an appointment. They got me in that day. Dr. Brokstein took the time to listen to me, made a diagnosis and applied a great chiropractic adjustment along with some therapy to help relieve my pain. I was comfortably able to attend my friend's wedding. Thanks for taking such good care of me! more

Dr. Russel is a miracle worker. After blowing out a disc in my back the other day, I was able to return to work shortly after I started seeing him. His wealth of knowledge and friendly staff allowed my healing to begin the minute I walked through the door! more

About 6years ago I hurt my neck while riding my bike. My bike hit a deep area in the blue dust and instead of falling, I grabbed the handlebars pulled up. I felt the pop in my neck and my hand went numb. Over the years the pain got worse to the point where it was interfering with my sleep. I would wake up in pain every night. It was getting out of control. My husband follows Dr Brokstein on Facebook and told me to go. I made an appointment and within a few weeks I was sleeping thru the night and I my had didn't fell like it was asleep all the time. I can put my earrings in my ears by myself, which hurts a lot less then having my husband do it. It's the little things. more

My husband, Wayne Howarth, has been going to Dr. Brokstein for around 6 weeks. Here is his story. After falling coming out of my shed, I started having upper and lower back problems. I also had pain in my legs. I had beeen sore and was not able to stand up straight for 3 weeks. My wife had suggested that I go to Dr. Brokstein. With the first visit, Dr. Brokstein diagnosed me with chronic to acute back problems. I do have lower back arthritis from an accident I had many years ago. Needless to say, after my first adjustment with Dr. Brokstein, I walked out of his office being able to walk upright. I continue to go to him every week. I have never waited more than 5 minutes to see him for any appointment. I have been to other chiropractors in the past and he is by far the best chiropractor I ever been to. I especially like the fact, that he runs his practice by himself and has flexible hours to meet my needs. I would recommend Dr. Brokstein to everyone. more

After suffering for many years with neck and lower back pain I heard about Dr. Brokstein and decided I had nothing to lose and, hopefully, a lot to gain by seeing him. Dr. Brokstein is a caring chiropractor who takes a ""whole body"" approach - not just the spine - he is a hands on doc who makes adjustments from neck to ankle. My painful issues are dissipating with every visit. As an added bonus the neck and shoulder pain I used to feel every day after work rarely occurs. I highly recommend Dr. Brokstein to anyone who is interested in chiropractic. more

Effective Treatment 3/29/2013

I am currently pregnant and was having lower back pain. My OB recommended that I try a chiropractor. Dr. Russell was recommended by a family friend and I began to see results after the second week. I like that he works with me and the amount of visits given to me by my healthcare provider, attempting to stretch them out for as long as possible instead of using them up within the first two months. He also showed me stretches that I can do at home to help loosen up my back, shoulders, and legs. I've had a wonderful experience thus far. more

At 5 months pregnant I began to suffer from severe lower back pain, After failing to remedy the problem myself and without sleep for over a week, Dr. Brokstein was recommended to me. He was able to schedule me for an appointment within a few days and I started feeling relief after just the first session. By my 4th appointment I was not only able to walk, sit, and sleep normally again but I was actually able to board a 12 hour flight to Hawaii and enjoy a long planned vacation! Hometown Family Wellness has helped me end my suffering. I cannot sing their praises enough!!! more

I would definitely recommend coming to see Dr. B if you are looking for a chiropractor. I had never been to one before, but after getting no answers from doctors about my headache problems, I decided to give it a try. I have been nothing but pleasantly surprised thus far, and have seen results in both the severity and frequency of my headaches. I feel better overall. Dr. B is very knowledgeable and professional. more

Very Skilled. 6/20/2011

As a Chiropractor myself I have been adjusted by a number of other doctors. I have known Dr. Brockstein for over a year now and can say with confidence that he is very thorough, skilled, and puts his patients at ease. He also employs some impressive technology in his practice, including one that combines Laser therapy with biofeedback. Highly recommended! more

Highly Recommend! 3/24/2011

It has been a long and winding road that has led me to Dr. Brokstein.....and extremely bumpy one for that matter. I always tell my friends and family that finding Dr. Brokstein was like winning the lottery!! Many of the doctors I have seen for years simply manage the issue(s) I am having by putting a band aid over it and never getting to the root of the issue, ultimately leading to more doctors, more medication and more frustration.....where does it ever end I thought. For years this vicious cycle continued. That is until my initial visit with Dr. Brokstein. He was so informative, spending more time than any doctor ever had with me and started to put the pieces together for me. His whole body approach to wellness is exquisite, he is in a league of his own and made me feel I could finally start to stop the cycle, and he was going to help me achieve that goal! It has been such an amazing experience......I would whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Brokstein to anyone! more

Hometown Family Wellness Center 2/17/2011

When I met Dr. Russell I had thrown my back out and could not move for days. I was unemployed and had no insurance. Dr. Russell was able to help me out with an affordable payment plan and he identified my problem. Within a couple of visits my back felt better than it has in years!! The Hometown Family Wellness Center help me with more than my back, they are currently helping me with a detox to become a healthier person. I highly recommend them no matter where you live, it is worth the trip to Freehold, NJ. more
