I've been a long time resident of Simi valley. But lately things have changed at Dr Ron's. As far as customer service goes they don't have a clue. They have a Very rude staff but ...

You just gotta love Dr. Ron's. 4/17/2012

You just gotta love Dr. Ron's. The staff is knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Ron is a fantastic vet. There isn't another place to go for routine exams, vaccinations, or for any pet with very a serious condition. Lots of hospitals have the latest diagnostic equipment, but it is useless without the expertise to interpret the results. Dr. Ron's has it all. more

You just gotta love Dr. Ron's. The staff is knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Ron is a fantastic vet. There isn't another place to go for routine exams, vaccinations, or for any pet with very a serious condition. Lots of hospitals have the latest diagnostic equipment, but it is useless without the expertise to interpret the results. Dr. Ron's has it all. more

Dr rons has really changed for the worse 3/6/2012

I've been a long time resident of Simi valley. But lately things have changed at Dr Ron's. As far as customer service goes they don't have a clue. They have a Very rude staff but I must say not all of them are rude but honestly it just depends on which day you go there. Either way I'd rather not take a chance anymore. From now on I'll go to a vet that cares and isn't just about money. It's sad to have to leave them because of there poor staff. Maybe if the kept the few good people there and hired some more properly trained staff they might be able to show they care but until then. It's all down him more

BEST HOSPITAL AROUND! 8/9/2011

This hospital is the best around. They provide excellent service at very reasonable prices. They are also now open for after-hours/late appointments for convenience and emergency care so pets won't have to be taken far and clients won't have the stress of an overpriced emergency hospital. Dr. Ron and his staff are excellent ! more

Experienced and compassionate 8/2/2011

We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and we do not hesitate to take our animals to Dr. Ron. Recently our oldest dog (2 years) had a seizure on a Friday night, I took her to the animal hospital in Thousand Oaks and after hearing the prognosis from Doogie Howser I decided to bring my dog home and take her to Dr. Rons the next morning. After his examination and diagnosis we left the office much more assured of her situation. I found his care very experienced and compassionate. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly. I get costs up front so that there are no surprises when I pay. Our animals will continue to see Dr. Ron forever. more

Good pricing and good service 8/1/2011

Dr. Ron's came recommended by my neighbor after we had a couple of bad experiences at another local vet. When I first saw all of the negative comments, I was hesitant. However, we have now gone to Dr. Ron's multiple times and have received good service and fair pricing. After many trips to Dr. Ron's, I feel comfortable recommending them. more

Even open on the weekend 7/29/2011

Dr. Rons moved to 1376 Erringer Rd - further south on Erringer Rd. They have a state-of-the art hospital including digital xrays and in-house laboratory. Laser surgery is also offered. Dr. Rons has emergency hours during the week until midnight. Dr. Ron's is also open on Saturdays and Sundays - for more reasonable ""off - hour"" veterinary care. more

I have tried 3 different vets in Simi Valley before going to Dr Ron's. In my opinion he is one of the best in the city. His prices are reasonable and his care has been exceptional. His staff is ALWAYS pleasant and professional. One of my dogs often has health issues and several times I have called to get him in right away and I have never been turned down, they have always fit us in even though they have a very tight schedule. I also love that he offers a low cost vaccination clinic at the local pet store and all the records go directly to his office, this saves me money not having to pay a office visit. I highly recommend Dr Ron and his staff. more
