GO TO...ANYWHERE ELSE! \r I don't even know where to begin recounting the story of just how horribly they treated me and how insulted I feel. If I could give them negative stars, I would. They discriminated against me and insulted me TWICE! I happened to be driving by one day and went in on a whim, figuring I'd conveniently knock out a quick errand.\r After I explained what I needed done and what days/times would work for them to come to my home, they basically told me that I couldn't afford their service because I live in Detroit. Now, although I am a resident of Detroit (and a proud one at that) I am very close to the border of Grosse Pointe. Mere feet, actually. \r After being insulted and turned away, I searched for another repair place for a few months but couldn't find one. I finally broke down and called to ask if they knew of anyone who is closer to the Grosse Pointe area. The woman on the phone told me that they go to Grosse Pointe all of the time and that they'd be happy to help me out (she was really nice). After I explained to her what happened the first time and that I live literally right on the border she asked for my address and zip code and put me on hold. When she came back, I was told that they ""have to draw their line somewhere"" and was given the name of another place that might be willing to help me. Thanks but no thanks. I don't want to work with anyone affiliated with such narrow-minded bigotry. \r For those of you who are scanners and not readers, I will reiterate. Do not take your business here. If they are in the position to insult people and refuse their business just because of some ridiculous, preconceived notion they may have about that person based on where they live then clearly they don't deserve it anyway. To quote Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman; ""Big mistake. Big. Huge. I have to go shopping now."" more

This was our second time using them and Chris came out again and was very friendly and knowledgable. Told me a lot about our dishwasher and fixed it and the disposal from making those awful sounds and got rid of the smell. A little pricey but I suspect you get what you pay for! more

Great service. Very please with their work. Referred by DTE. Fixed my dishwasher. They had to order parts so it took a week or so but let us know as soon as the parts came in. The tech was great. Very nice and informative. Would use them again. more

We were very pleased with Doc's appliance. They were contracted through kitchen aid to do a repair on our refrigerator. The tech was courteous and prompt and completed the repair in less than 20 minutes. Definitely recommend. more

The driver was on time and friendly. Came out for a service call, but the fix didn't work. Same driver came out and discovered a part problem. Ordered the part, returned at a later time and fixed the dishwasher. Always on time and courteous. I would use them again. more

Top Notch. Karl did a great job in diagnosing the problem with our Whirlpool Refrigerator leaking water 6 hours after the defrosting of the freezer. He is friendly and very knowledgeable about our refrigerator. He also gave us a tip of using vasoline on the drawers to make them slide in and out with ease. Did not take much time to make the repair required. Would use them again. Thanks more

Doc's is the worst company i have ever 5/23/2012

Doc's is the worst company i have ever delt with! my first appoinment was supposed to be from 1-5 the guy showed up at my house at about 9:30, i was at work and took a half day off so i could be home. the service guy said there was nothing he could do because the schudule was scred up and he couldnt stay till i got home, i called the office and they said they screwed up and the guy came back out and wanted to charge me $300 to replace my ice maker. i consisted of two screws and one plug. so i made a call to whirlpool, whirlpool said the first time Doc's was out to replace my ice maker they replaced it with the wrong unit and it almost caught my freezer on fire. so whirlpool agreed to replace the ice maker at no charge. i had another appoinment lined up for the new ice maker today between 8-1. i got a phone calll at noon saying that they had an emergency and the service guy couldnt show up. i spoke with Matt the service manager to try and get things straightend out, Matt the manager hung up on me. i had to drive over to Doc's and talk to Matt in person sicne Matt hung up on me, they charged me $70.00 for a service call that was thier fault, they didnt want to give me a refund because supposdly Matt said he was the owner but said he couldnt sign checks, then all the sudden Matt wasnt the owner....i refused to leave until they gave me a refund and low and behold they came up with $70.00 cash to give me...NEVER EVER DO BUSNIESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I HOPE THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS! more

THE WORST\r \r The moron came out to remove something stuck in the dryer...20 minutes 150.00 (PRICELESS !) I put a load of wet towels in and came back 2 hours later and they were still wet. The idiot forgot to turn the gas on. What service for such a great price. Called the store and there response was... it was working when the tech left. The offer was a 20.00 credit ! more
