Met with Mr. Dickerson to get quote for back patio. Made mistake of not getting (and it wasn't offered in the first place) more precise square footage and an actual "to scale" dia...

Excellent outcome, could have been quicker 10/18/2011

I think for us, the overall experience was good. We're happy with the way that the project turned out. Dickerson Landscaping put in a large retaining wall and patio, and a walk around the side of the house. It required a lot of moving dirt around, and a number of trees were taken out. It was a large project. For any project as extensive as ours, you're going to have some issues. Perhaps the biggest problem was that they said it was going to take 5-6 weeks, but it took more than 3 months. It was a little bit frustrating and this caused us some issues. From a business standpoint, I think there were a lot of inefficiencies that Will Dickerson could have taken care of, such as equipment problems. For example, instead of fixing the tractor for $200, the thing broke every other day. However, my wife and I think it was worth the wait. We were really happy with the workers at Dickerson Landscaping. We had an excellent outcome with Dickerson Landscaping, but it could have been quicker! more

Good job 8/3/2011

They did a good job with the concrete pavers. After the job was complete I did have to e-mail requesting to bring out more builders sand to finish filling between the pavers. more

The project started later than expected and the late start was disconcerting. 7/27/2011

Project started later than originally planned. The installers got a little sloppy at the end of the project. Not enough pavers were obtained when the project was expanded and they ran out near the end. This resulted in the final paver installation not quite matching the earlier work. more

Looks great and good value 7/27/2011

The only reason i would not give five stars is that the job was not fully completed when promised. Otherwise, it looks great. Dan Fendley was great to deal with as well as were the guys working on site. Good attention to detail. more

I am very pleased with the out come of the work that you have done. Your employees are great and very helpful. The one thing I would like to point out is that the communication is not the greatest. But over all I am very pleased. more

Better than I could have imagined 7/24/2011

William and his staff designed and completed a new front walkway at my home. The result makes the front of the home look much better and more inviting. I could not have imagined how much a difference it made. more

Fast and efficient. 6/20/2011

A fire blew across our yard from our neighbors house. Our Azalea bushes completely burned down to the roots. We waited through February and into April to see if they'd come back, but they didn't. I belong to a garden club, and a few of my friends from my club, had used Dickerson Landscaping for landscaping, water features and so forth, so we went ahead and tried them out. They came and pulled up the burnt and dead bushes out and graded the the areas and planted the new bushes. They did a good job and everything seems to be growing well. I'd use them again. more

Very, very good! 5/23/2011

Dickerson Landscaping has excellent service. I would recommend them. They are very, very good! They a very responsible, and they are here when they say they're going to be to come. They always help me with some extra little things that I might need. All I have to do is ask them, and they come back to check on me, and that really means a lot. When you get older, and your husband is sick, and you have to go out in the hot sun, it really means a lot. Anna Gallagher more

Nice guys to know and work with. 5/18/2011

The crew at Dickerson Landscaping are nice guys to know and work with. They do good with trim and shrub work. However, they have so much turnover that it's hard to get the people that they send familiar enough or aware enough of conditions in your yard. That offers some problems but I'd rate them satisfactory. I would recommend that they train their people better in knowing different plants and conditions in the yard and make it an individual experience and not a production line type of job. They have trouble sometimes with knowing flowers versus weeds, and I wish each crew would take more pride and interest in the job. I believe they have the potential to do a lot better job than they sometimes do, but some things they do really well. One time they came out and went through the yard with what they call a "clean-up" and did a good job. more

Oooh and Aaah Effect 5/18/2011

The guys were great, hard workers, very cooperative, and nice as can be. We love the results. Several neighbors have already driven by and stopped to oooh and aaah. One woman was really effusive, I thought she would have a heart attack in the back yard! If I had said the house was for sale she would have bought it on the spot. I have also discovered an interest in gardening that I never had before. more

Dickerson Landscapeing is great! Their level of professionalism is not to be matched. They showed up on time and completed the work in a timely manner cleaned up the job site and billing was honest and fair! I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for any type of outdoor service. Thank you Dickerson! more

Work done by force. 3/16/2011

Came to give me an estimate, very knowledgable and was highly recommened. Then, without contacting me, the design was drawn and photos taken without my permission or input, and then I was billed for $500, which I paid bc I had no choice. Later, I find out that the photos on their gallery are digitally enhanced, and one isn't even a photo from Tally. Its from Fairchild Garden in Miami, where I am a longtime member. For sure, this photo is not work that Dickerson did. Now I wonder which ones are theirs. more

I really appreciate Chris and the rest of "my" lawn crew for thinking "outside the grass." Last week Chris called me at work to say he noticed ice forming on my heat pump unit outside. He, being a former HVAC person, knew this wasn't a good situation. Because he called me I was able to get my HVAC serviceman come the same day. Yes, a part was needed, order and subsequently installed.\r \r It's refreshing to do business with a company that considers the entire client, not just their grass and shrubs. BTW: I had Dickerson do a "veranda and backyard" for me too. That's how I contracted for them to be my "lawn guys"....and Chris is indicative of the fine people Dickerson hires (and hopefully) keeps more
