Dee's Doggie Den

"My dog loves Dee's. We take her here when we go out of town and when it is time for her spa day. I love that they are very careful about shot records being up to date, including something called bortedella which I have no idea what that means but it's not good if your dog gets it. My friend at work takes her dog weekly and she loves it. We watch them on the website cam at work and they are always having a good time. Grooming is okay and very reasonable. I have had to take her back to get her face trimmed a little shorter but they were fine with that. If you want just a fancy gromming place with painted toes, bows and perfume, this might not be your place. But to have your dog have a fun day, come home grommed, clean and happy, this is your place. I have also done some training with them while my dog was being boarded for a week long vacation and I loved the lady that does the training. She is great and I need to do more of that. Dee's Doggie Den and the staff that operate this boarding kennel and day care are the best. I have been using them for the past 6 months & have been very satisfied. more

We had our dog groomed @ Dees and he came out with the worst groom ever. His hair was matted and wet so I complained and the man @ the counter offered a re-do @ no charge. He said we couldn't get our money back but the groomer could re-do it. Why would we want them to do another groom if they could not do it the first time. While we were there a woman was very upset because her dogs tail had been cut off @ the tip of it. She was crying but the man she was talking to told her to calm down so we figured that was so other customers would not hear her. He even told her to not come back. We will pay higher prices somewhere else to get a saFe cut that is done right the first time. We don't trust dee or her incompetent staff. We will not go back. more

You need to be aware that Dee has people write 5 star reviews and then gives them a discount. Half of these reviews are written by her and her business partner/husband Evan. The services I have gotten for my dogs were not even satisfactory. I have had them bathed there twice and both times was disappointed. They tell me to bring them in for a redo. I am only off weekends so Saturday is the only day I can bring them in. I am the paying customer and should not have to come back for a service already paid for. They should be bending over backwards when my dogs look worse than when I dropped them off. My golden's hair was not brushed and they could not find her collar so I waited 20 minutes for her to be brought out. The girl who brought her out said she had to wait for the bather to cut her nails and brush her out. I will never bring her or my terrior back to Dee's. I boarded them last fall and when I picked them up they were okay but as soon as I got them home I noticed they had not had their nails cut as I had asked and their food was hardly gone. We were gone 7 days!! I will never recommend this place because of the way my dogs are treated while there. more

Dolly so far has been groomed there, boarded for several days and given a bath. I will say that Dolly is very socialized and has spent time in dogs kennels off and on since she was 3-4 months old. When I picked her up from boarding she was happy-go-lucky as usual, had no scratch or bite marks and no issues that I could tell. more

I really like that I can leave my dog here and trust and know that my dog is taken care of. He always comes back well groomed and cleaned. This is definitely like a second home to him. more

This is the 15th visit Wookie has had to Dee's Doggie Den and he seems very happy every time he leaves here. He is well groomed and looked after. more

My dog always seems very happy every time I pick him up from here! I have used Dees for boarding and grooming and every time I have been pleased! They do a fantastic job with his grooming and he looks great afterwards! I highly recommend them! more

I used one time, but had a bad feeling about leaving my baby there, and she was extremely "skittish" for a few days afterward. I have taken her to other daycare without problems, but Dee's had opened this new big day care in Lakewood, so I tried it. I have since heard so many negative in-person reviews by numerous sources, and even of a dog's death in their care, that I will never use again. I'm now very suspicious of the five star ratings at various sites...are many of these written by employees????What about the "F"rating by the BBB???? more
